I?m very upset with this establishment. I used to come here often but ever since the the ownership changed, I stopped coming. I... recently heard that the ownership changed again and I have heard good things about the new owner, so I decided to go last Fridaynight and was shocked. I sat down and ate dinner (not as good as it used to be, but decent Chinese food) but once I was ready toleave, I saw a mouse run across the floor. Almond chicken over cooked(dry and very hard). Fried rice had very little flavor. And the burban chicken fell short. Had semi... high hope because of the recent reviews of the business turning around. But unfortunately I did not receive the same outcome asothers. Would not recommend. Food is mediocre at best. It had really good reviews and I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant. The rice had extra seasoning I didn't like. ... My son tasted the rice and said ew what is that? We are so glad that the original owners of China Fare corrected the problems that arose with the business right after they... retired. That was the most honorable & considerate thing for them to do. We feel that our favorite Chinese Restaurant has beenrestored to this community. We went there for dinner tonight. I hate to leave bad reviews but I would hate it if somebody else had the same experience we did and didn't have a warning. Me... and my boyfriend ordered 60$ worth of food for dinner last week. It was EXTREMELY expensive for the amount of food that wereceived. Our to go boxed were not even half way full of food (for 15$+ a meal, you shouldn't be able to see the bottom of theto-go box) also, I bit into the egg roll and almost threw up. It tasted like bugs were in it. Very very earthy and awful. Thesweet and sour chicken came with this brown gravy that tasted only like msg and cornstarch. It was so terrible. The crab Rangooncame so hard you would need a hammer to break a piece of it. I was incredibly disappointed in this place. I read the reviews but had a taste for Chinese so I thought I'd give it a chance. $40 and we couldn't even eat it. The noodles,... chicken and shrimp are So dry and flavor less. The Fried rice.. isn't fried rice it's so weird tasting. The beef and onion Alsogross. The egg rolls were edible. Read more
I have always loved this place. Always go for the buffet because it has so much. My favorite is the peanut butter chicken. The... quality in meat is so much better then the other buffets near by. Read more
Been going here for years through several different owners good food ! Bourbon chicken actually better the next day as left... overs? Really tasty . Egg drop soup very good . Service excellent! They even brought us complimentary chicken skewers ! We willbe back ! Oh btw , I would suggest a little more heat in sauce for the tasty egg rolls. Read more
