Lived here in ortonville for 5 years now. My husband have never ate here before, so we decided to try it as we were walking and... noticed the outdoor seating. We had our dog with us and I went inside to tell them we were outside with our pup. I was told nodogs allowed outside. So, we had to leave. Mind you I?ve been to VERY few places in ortonville, Michigan and the u tied statesthat don?t allow dogs outdoors. And this not being fancy and a hole in the wall pub I have to say I was surprised and verydisappointed. I guess other dog owners who don?t pick up after their pets or make them behave ruined it? Anyway, I get it, Andrespect it, just here to say that the women behind the bar were very rude about it and very unwelcoming. That makes animpression on someone, so we will never venture out to try it without our dog. Read more
Great outdoor seating and the waitress was fun! Homemade watermelon Margarita drink was perfect! Food was good and portions were... definitely worth the price. A great place to enjoy a beautiful afternoon or evening. Read more
Place was barely half full at 8 PM on a Tuesday, yet it took us 20 minutes of sitting at a table being ignore before I had to... walk to the bar to place an order for three sandwiches and a pretzel that took another 45 minutes to serve. The staff were allintoxicated, they gave us the wrong cheese dip for the pretzel, and they actually had the gall to overcharge me for my sandwich.Worse, the portion of fried looked like it was for a toddler, not an adult. Despite waiting for an hour to get barely any food,they gave us no discount. The food was fairly good but the experience was bad enough that I would not consider coming back. Thisis just a bar that serves food. Keep your expectations low. Read more
This pub might be small, but the welcome is BIG. We had great food. The rub on the beef was flavorful but not peppery.... Delicious! Good service from Stephanie too! Just wish they had a few non craft beers on tap. Can't wait to return! Read more

Awesome place. Great smoked food. Best thing I have had was when they obliged me and put pastrami and corn beef....2 of the... best things in my opinion... Together with eithier slaw or sauerkraut. Best sandwich ever!! Read more
Update: Went back and got their food this time. The rueben was REALLY good and the nachos were quite good for pub nachos. ... Staff was still top notch and friendly. Definitely worth a stop. Stopped in on a random Thursday afternoon. We were killingtime between two appointments and were trying to acquaint ourselves with the town. The pizza place two doors down delivers rightinto the bar here so we decided to do that. The place was small but nice. Tables where all high top or bar seating. Thebartender and local afternoon drinkers were all very friendly and we talked amiably for a while. Our pizza arrived and sadlyour appointment called that they were early so we had to eat and run. Definitely going back though to try their food. Beer ontap was limited but every one was a good craft beer and it looks like they rotated out a lot of different options. Read more
