My whole life, I have been trying numerous amount of Jamaican restaurants and I must say that this is by far my favourite. Most... Jamaican restaurants I find take too long to prepare their food, their portions are too small and/or their price range isridiculously extortionate. Growing up in the Guyanese culture, we are accustomed to TONNES of flavour in our food and that?swhat I was always looking for. I find that their jerk chicken even tastes a bit like one of our national dish, ?Pepper pot?.Champ?s food FULLA FLAVA! Lol. I must add that this is perhaps the only Jamaican restaurant that I?ve ever visited where theydon?t make up their face when you ask them for a little bit of extra gravy like other places. Terrible, just terrible. THIS IS NOT CARIBBEAN FOOD, what a disgrace! The rice was OVERCOOKED/ soggy. The Jerk Chicken is... tasteless and dry, as if it was microwaved. Very disappointed! I had to throw everything away. 0/5 Read more

I placed an order at 3pm today for a pick up at 6pm. I took the time to place my order early to ensure that they would have the... food that I wanted when I went to pick it up ( sometimes they run out of popular items early). I arrived at the restaurant 15minutes early,and was told that my order wasn?t ready yet, but would be ready shortly. After waiting for approximately a halfhour, I got all of the items I ordered, which cost me $57 and change. One of the items I ordered was bbq chicken. I just openedthe container a few minutes ago, and was completely disgusted with what I saw. They literally gave me fried chicken coveredwith bbq sauce! To say that I?m unhappy, is an understatement. Orders a curry goat and plain rice with steam veg, and honestly I was shocked at how delicious it was. As a Jamaican native... it?s hard to find restaurants that can actually cook our dishes. Will definitely return. Read more
I ordered Jamaica's national dish, Ackee and Salt Fish, and was not disappointed. The flavours's took me back to my childhood... when my friends mom would make this dish and remind me of why I fell in love with the meal. I can only imagine the rest of themenu is 5 stars as well. Happy to find a good Caribbean place after trying another one in Oshawa that I wasn?t happy with. I used to live in Scarborough... where you can get great food and was hoping to find a good one here!
