If I could rate 0 stars for customer service I would. Had a very unfortunate and shocking experience tonight at Gyro Bar in the... Kingsway Plaza in Oshawa. We like to support local and hubby had had food from here before through work and said it was reallygood. We ordered takeout over the phone from their website & when we went to get our food, the prices were inflated. When wetried to talk to the server, and the owner on the phone, to get them to honour their website price as it is false advertising ,the owner said they didn't have a website and refused, and then hung up on my husband, who was not being rude only stern to gethis point across. The server was continuously belligerent, came out to our vehicle, told us to never come back and then smearedsauce on our windshield! We have never been treated this way. I also have photos of said website, menu and what was done to ourcar. From what I have heard since from friends amd reviews, we are not the only customers that have had a similar experience Wewill not go back and will go back to our other favourite Greek Restaurant in Bowmanville. The most miserable person I've ever come across served me. This young blonde girl looked like she hated her life. She didn't... make eye contact but managed to roll her eyes at everything I said. When asked if she was having a bad day, she started talkingback to me and yelled after me as I left. People like this should be fired.. this behavior is unacceptable. The way she talkedto me is a good indication that she doesn't care about her job or only has one due to nepotism. I will never spend a dime hereagain. She needs to be fired. And having airpods in your ear while serving food should be a health violation. Read more
I have never been treated with such disrespect at a restaurant before.. I was ordering and just asked the difference between... the chicken souvlaki and the chicken gyro, as well as the price difference. The young blonde girl (who said she was themanager)repeatedly was rolling her eyes at me, giving me a lot of attitude, and calling me names right in front of me with herco-worker while I was trying to order. 1:Lady did not wear hat or hair net making my food 2: she cooked and served someone before she wven started mine!Then messed up... my order and charged me a steak something instead of the chicken solovaki wrap I ordered and did not put the right toppings Iasked for. Said her fault but said she undercharged me and didnt offer any thing to make it better 3: also ordered a Greeksalad.it had regular white onions instead of the usual red and was given Italian dressing instead of greek. 4: Extreamlydisappointed . Funny as I come out at night to get some food for my 40 week pregnant wife who is craving Greek. I look online and at 8 o?clock... the restaurants where I live are closed. So this restaurant Gyro Bar! Said open on Goggle till 10 PM. I drive up I see therestaurant is closed nothing on the door that says there is an emergency or anything just all the lights off at 847 pm. Read more
