First time here... Not bad. The complimentary warm chips was delicious! Got the nacho platter with chicken and crispy chicken... wings. Tried the butter BBQ sauce, a definite no and hard pass for me. I ordered take out checked fajitas with a side of guacamole the other day. I was completely unimpressed with the portions. First... of all I received 4 tortillas along with enough chicken and veg to barely fill 4 of them. I mean I?m not opposed to a meal forone but for 30$?. Come on. I could have just gotten my own chicken breast, veg and onion and it would have been cheaper. If youwant a good portion of fajitas and a great price go to the One eyed Jack instead. Nothing special about lone star other thantheir inflated prices and small portions. Will not be going back. The only reason I ordered from there was that I wasovercharged at another location and they reimbursed me a gift card for their mistake. Read more

Friendly, tasty and unique. Staff here were energetic and gave useful information regarding dishes, customer opinions on some... favourites and made us feel comfortable. Very attentive to the environment and the needs of the table. Food was nicelypresented, cooked and seasoned well also. Alligator bites were a fun item to try and I would recommend them. Fajitas weretasty and a nice item to share (one order) among two people. Menu is moderately sized, with the tex-mex sort of theme. Comehere for those types of food and you won't be dissapointed. Went to a fairly new location (North Oshawa) they don't have a big menu like the Whitby location however, they have the staples!... Nonetheless delicious and fresh! Never disappointed at Lone Star! Read more

We should have paid attention to the ratings before going to this restaurant. It has two stars for a reason! The only thing I... enjoyed was my purple Rain drink for the name alone! They do not have a phone menu at this location. My fajitas had paper init. There was a huge tarantula that must have escaped from the pet store that was crawling near our table. I told the waitressthat our chair was dirty and she stood there with a blank stare. I actually had to ask for something so I could wipe it myself.The churros were gross! They offered nothing off of my bill after serving me paper in my food. I will not return to thislocation again. Read more
Came at 5pm on a Sunday. Very clean and quiet establishment great for a family dinner. Food was awesome and was brought in a... timely manner. The Highlight of the night was definitely the server Bender, he delivered a fantastic experience full of laughsand top tier customer service.
