Looking for an AYCE alternative? Try the endless shrimp feast at Red Lobster. This restaurant is located close to downtown... Oshawa just down the street from the Oshawa Centre. The parking lot is shared with a Vietnamese restaurant and this place getsbusy very fast. You can get on the waitlist online. The endless shrimp costs $28.99 per person. You can choose 2 shrimp dishesplus one side to start. Once you finish your initial servings, you can order refills one order at a time. We tried all thedifferent shrimp dishes. Our favourite shrimp was the grilled red Argentine shrimp. The shrimp is butterflied and grilled onopen flame. Shrimps were large and seasoned with just salt. The hand-crafted garlic shrimps were very good and served in a bowlof garlic butter sauce. It wasn't too salty but watch out for the cholesterol. Parmesan-bacon garlic shrimp was similar to thehand-crafted shrimp except there is bacon pieces with parmesan cheese melted on top. The bacon and parmesan made the shrimps toosalty. You will need to offset the saltiness with your side like rice, fries, baked potato, coleslaw or mashed potato. Walt'sfavourite shrimps were fried butterflied shrimps with marinara sauce. The shrimps were crispy and not too oil. I can tell whythese are one of the popular items. Very addictive! The shrimp linguine alfredo was the most filling dish. Shrimps were smallerbite size portions and coated in irresistible alfredo sauce. I could eat this as an entree for dinner. The island jumbo coconutshrimps had a hint of sweetness with the shredded coconut. Similar to Walt's shrimp but no dipping sauce. This was probably ourleast favourite dish. The server Dee was very friendly and she came around to check on us regularly. She refilled our ice teaswithout waiting for us to ask for refill. Great service! Really a very nice Red Lobster location with friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. The booths mat be a tad tight but big enough... for a group of four. I recommend the Admiral Mix which is very filling and delicious ????. The location has ? parking and hasautomated doors. Service here was par excellent! Super friendly, professional staff! The good was fresh, delicious & served very hot! We had... the ultimate feast with snow crab legs substituted, shrimp trio, steak & Walt’s favorite shrimp, tilapia w/ grilled shrimp &lobster tail. The fish was a tad but over cooked but everything else was cooked to perfection. The steak done to a perfectmedium rare & crab legs perfectly steamed. The drinks were ????????as well! Came here to celebrate with my sister in law for mybrother’s & nephew’s birthday & they had a blast! The facility is clean & sanitary and that goes a long way with me. We celebrated a special occasion yesterday and have mixed feelings about our experience. The portions were large and everything... tasted good (our table ordered the lobster bisque, Thursday 2 can dine special, 2 orders of the stuffed tilapia, the crabAlfredo linguine, and a chocolate wave cake) and everyone left very full however, every thing was VERY greasy and heavy- not apleasant feeling after eating. Our waitress (I believe her name was Deb) seemed to have an attitude with us when we flagged herdown to ask a question. Very sharp and abrupt when talking to us and that really spoiled our mood. BE AWARE: they promote theuse of the tablet, however if you play the games they will charge you for it!!! It was not apparent that there was a cost and Ihave never seen this at any other restaurant, so just be conscious of that. Great Experience Every Time My wife has loved this chain forever. This location is one of the few left running in GTA and is... close enough that when my wife wants a visit it's easy. Hell, even my grandchildren like going here. Staff is always friendlyand more than happy to ensure your visit is a pleasant experience. Restaurant is super clean, staff super attentive and food isconsistent and good quality. I do love their chowders. Been there often and will return again without question. Red Lobster never disappoints. I went on a Friday evening, and there was a bit of a wait. They took our number, and we waited in... the car until a table was free. The front staff were friendly, polite, and well organized. The restaurant was clean. Tableswere spaced out nicely, and the atmosphere was nice. The biscuits were delicious, warm, and fresh. I wasn't feeling seafood, soI ordered the 10oz steak. I ordered it medium rare, but there was no pink inside at all. It was flavourless, but nice andtender. I won't hold the steak against them, since I doubt it's something that's rarely ordered. My mashed potatoes weredelicious, as well as the green beans. My son got Mac and cheese, which also came with a choice of side, and drink. It was wellportioned, fresh, and he enjoyed it. My friend ordered the endless shrimp, which was also very good. Read more
Came for the Monday daily deal of unlimited shrimp. All options are a great selection of shrimp. Service was very friendly and... attentive. ?? What stood out tonight for me though was their holiday drinks. I ordered their Snowglobe Sangria and it wasequally delicious as it was beautiful. I couldn’t take my eyes off of it and almost felt bad for drinking it. Truly did looklike a snow globe. Highly recommend. ???? Read more
