WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! I went to the Harmony Road and Taunton Road location at 7:20 p.m. on December 5th. Got take... out, asked for it to be very hot. It was stone cold, part of my order was missing and the food was just awful!!! I called atleast 20 times in a 5 day period and NOBODY answered the phone!! I even went back to the location in person at 9:05 p.m.because the website said it was open until 10 p.m. it was closed!!! I called and called "so called" customer service, guestservice and you are transferred all over and NO human being speaks to you! Thoroughly disgusted! They are quick and ready totake your money, but nobody takes responsibility of the garbage quality!! And then they respond below with: Blah, blah,blah.... Total lip service to make themselves look good! If you were sooooo concerned about the terrible experience I had,they would have had a manager available any of the 5 days in a row, I tried to reach them!!! No human being answers thephone!!!! Put on hold for hours, nobody monitors the call!! Finally transferred to Guest Services, only to find out that theyclosed at 4:30 p.m. Swiss Chalet has the wrong operation hours listed on their website, wasn't even open when I got fed uptrying to reach by phone, and drove over in person!! Restaurant location should be correcting their screw up, not betransferred to another completely different place that I can't even access!! Read more

This is the second time I order a whole chicken. I asked it to be quartered and it is halfed. No biggie but I didn't get the... sauce. So I called and got passed around. Takeout can't send my sauce. Takeout can't give refunds only credits. I had to callthe restaurant. After 35+ mins from 4 different person I get the manager who then says she can have my sauce delivered out tome. Since pick up and actually talking to the manager it is 1 hr. To late. It is now 7:55pm. I ask for a refund only to be toldI need to come into the store to get my refund. Complete waste of time. Not ordering from them again. So very disappointed as wereally like Swiss chalet chicken. Read more

My family of four went today and ordered, waiting for a half hour. The appetizers came and after we ate, the waitress told us... the chicken had run out. We decided to cancel our order and go somewhere else, since our order was made up of chicken meals. Itwas very disappointing experience. Read more

Beyond disappointed in the service! Me and my family went for thanksgiving dinner, about 2 hours before closing, wasn?t too... busy. We waited about 15 minutes for somebody to take our order and I ordered the thanksgiving dinner just to find out another15 minutes later they are sold out of almost everything on the plate. When we found that out we wanted to just cancel the order,pay for drinks and leave to go somewhere else but they told us we had to pay for the wrap someone else ordered just to find outthe meat was raw and food was cold and dry. Also check your utensils because ours were dirty and covered with dust. Read more

My childhood was full of Swiss Chalet. Always a treat when the parents who never did out food went to the one in Whitby. Have to... be honest. Last 3 or 4 times I had it I felt ill afterwards, so some component isn't agreeing with me Had it via skip lastnight. 1/4 chicken and potato. The baked was dry and clumpy and cold. The chicken was moist inside but had developed a hardcrust like it had been sitting on a warming try too long. And I ended up feeling ill, so. That will end my saga with them. LikeKFC and others, the excellence of food quality has dropped. Read more

My family and i use to come here all the time, i love the food and want to continue coming but my mom and i had a very... unpleasant dinning experience. The restaurant was absolutely FREEZING. As soon as we walked in we both were freezing. We bothhad pants and a long sleeve on. We were seated by a young man who looked like he had not wanted to be there. We were seatedunder a dripping air vent then asked to move. We were moved beside (almost under) another dripping air vent that was drippingbrown water onto the floor and almost on me our entire dinner. There were only 2 waitresses and things were so slow. our foodcame out hot which was nice for a change. We waiting for at least half and hour for the bill and for a takeout box after westopped eating which felt like the longest time since it was so cold in there our noses started running and our toes werefrozen. it felt like it was 5 degrees in there which made it unpleasant and made us rush to eat. People in the table beside uswent to their car to grab their coat too. In my opinion the service has gone downhill unfortunately as this is my favouriterestaurant. Read more

I had an amazing experience at this location tonight. I am a celiac so ordered 1/4 chicken and coleslaw as a side. I told the... server, celiac, no bread or gluten please. The manager came out with an allergy guide to go over what I ordered and proceeded totell me they had a DEDICATED FRYER for the fries. I quickly changed my coleslaw to fries! It was so nice to be treated soseriously and made for a worry free meal. I'll be going back soon. Read more
