Service was great. The wings were delicious and they were for lunch the next day too. Best wings I have had in a long time.
Tried the Crooked Uncle for the 1st time today. We were very pleased. Our waitress (Jay I think) was very friendly and... attentive. The owner introduced himself and very honestly admitted there was a little mistake with our nachos, so it was beingredone, and he reduced our bill more than we expected, and even though we hadn't complained. I've heard a LOT of great things about this place for years, and finally went with a few friends for what I've been told are... great wings and a few drinks. The wings were good in size and not heavily breaded but were pretty dry/overcooked. Our serverwas sporadically attentive and seemed to be more concerned with doing shots with a few of the other patrons. Sadly, The CrookedUncle did not live up to the hype. Read more
By far the best wings! My husband and I go here often. Really friendly staff & a great place to chill and watch the game with a... nice cold beer. We do miss the barrel of peanuts but completely understand why they've been removed. Maybe you guys could bringthem back and serve individual baskets? Just a thought. Absolutely one place if you haven't visited in Oshawa you have to try! When I speak to people who know this gem say it's the... number one place in the area for wings! It's true too. They have an incredible Saturday night Prime Rib special that's out ofthis world good!! This Prime Rib dinner can compete with any fine dining establishment around!! Amazing food and great service. We heard about this place from a Durhameats blog and had to come try it. We've had wings all... over durham and this is officially our new fav place! We had wings and chicken fingers that were delicious. The calamari wasokay but kind of bland. For dessert we had the deep fried mars bar, we were soo full but im sure i could have eaten 10 of those.Our server Jessica was great! She was super friendly from the moment we came in. Went in here today for dine-in with my friend. Ordered some wine. Started off with Calamari for appetizers. Found some good... options on the menu for the mains. We ordered Pulled Pork Flatbread & Johnny B?s Lamb Burger. Both tasted delicious ???? Thestaff wee friendly and good service. They allowed only 10 people inside due to Covid situation. This place was clean and wenoticed the staff were particular about sanitizing everything. Heard their wings are really amazing. Would definitely try themnext time. Would recommend ???? Read more
First time today going and was very very happy we did. Jenn (was name on the receipt) was prob the friendliest server I have had... in a long time, made the experience that much better. Had wings and poutine and a couple of pints all very good. Beer selectionwas OK nothing crazy but definitely we will be going back. Prices are reasonable as well Read more
