A small hole in the wall serving up Canadian style Chinese food. Definitely won't pass muster as an authentic spot, but for... those looking for cheap eats, their lunch menu offerings are hard to beat. My go-to is definitely the general Tao's or the currybeef. Noodles > Rice. The wonton noodle soup won't win any awards, but it's comforting and warm and an excessive amount of foodto boot. The frying oil is always clean and the food not overly greasy. Was very disappointed! None of the dishes looked anything like the pictures. Not even close!! So deceiving . The lemon chicken... and general tao chicken was soft and rubbery. And the picture of the general Chow chicken was surrounded in broccoli, there wasnone. Only a few peppers.The wonton were the size of a quarter!! I've never ever seen such tiny wonton. The chicken lo meinhardly had any flavor and very little chicken in it. Noodles were very overcooked. Portion sizes were very small for everydish! No plum sauce, no soy sauce, no fortune cookies, nothing came with the meal. For $75 (for 5 dishes before tax deliveryand tip!!!) I expected way more! The driver was very sweet though. Read more

Going to have to agree with the rest of the people here. I've been an Oshawa resident for over 50 years. We have eaten out... pretty much everywhere. Chinese food has gone down in years since the Globe left if you ask me. However this place was fast,decent price and the food was fresh and hot. Can't ask for more than that. Nothing was overcooked. Best Chinese food in Oshawa by a long shot, even in all of Durham in my opinion. What you are getting is clean, perfectly... cooked - not oversauced. The flavours are true and the prices and portions for this quality are more than fair. First order ever. Oh wow delicious delivery fast nicely packed. One thing and only thing and I am not picking is that... ordered lemon chicken had it in foil lined styrofoam may be a little sauce on side would have been good. I'd go as far as to say it was the best Chinese food I've ever had! Ordered yesterday and the food was delicious. Instead of... using excessive onion as filler (as most chinese restaurants do) it had a great mixture of veggies. Serving sizes were great! We ordered family meal for 3 and had enough left over for all 3 of us to have lunch again the next day. Delivery guy was veryfriendly and pleasant. I?ve been trying a lot of Chinese restaurants in Oshawa yet so far this shop is the BEST. Food is clean, delicious and... inexpensive. The owner Sam is very nice guy and can cook really fast. For me like individual order can be done in 5-10 mins andhe even can make big family orders for 15-20 mins. Truly recommend to give a try if you?re passing by Oshawa or residing intown.
