The Roxy was the perfect spot for a Thanksgiving eve feast in Oshkosh, our first visit to this community. We arrived on the... early side, took seats at the bar, and were warmly welcomed by bartenders Lucas and Alex. After cocktails--Alex makes a greatbrandy old fashioned, Lucas is equally good at martinis--we ordered an appetizer and our entrees from gracious Jade. My wife'sbroiled walleye and my prime rib were delicious as were the garlic mashed potatoes. Alas, given the portion sizes there was noroom for dessert. Good food, warm hospitality, super reasonable prices--what's not to like? Read more

This is a very large supper club. The bar area was very large and totally packed when I walked in at 5pm on a Wednesday. Once... I found the hostess station, I was happily greeted and was asked if I wanted to be seated right away and I said I did. She tookme to a dining room that was down a hall. After I was seated, I was greeted by my server. She was very attentive andhelpful. I ordered the Early Bird Prime Rib and was very happy I did. I ordered medium rare, and it was perfect and verytender. The portion for the special was not small, it was what I would consider a normal size cut. The accompanying au jus wasvery flavorful and complimentary to the taste of the meat. I ordered the Garlic Mashed Potatoes for my side, and I was glad Idid. They were homemade with some of the skin left, but not too much. There was a good flavor of garlic, and it was verytasty. I forgot to mention that my meal also came with soup or salad, and I ordered the Chicken Dumpling soup, it wasexcellent. The broth was very tasty and flavorful and the dumplings good as well, you can tell that it was homemade, veryfresh. I can see why it is a favorite there. Overall, this place is really nice. The menu is large, and you should be able tofind something for everyone. One thing to note, it is a VERY busy place. Read more

First let me say that I am a regular at The Roxy, I have been for years. Sadly I will seriously think about returning after last... night?s meal. My wife and I sat at the bar to eat on a busy Friday night, my steak and fried onions were great at usual. Theshock came when my son ate my leftovers late Friday evening, in the fried onions was a rose gold, dime sized nose ring! Ourwaitress as we remembered did gave a lot of facial piercings, don?t know if she or someone in the kitchen list it, I called TheRoxy, they said they would talk to the waitress and the kitchen staff, but otherwise they where very unapologetic. I am sorrybut in this time of high restaurant prices, inflation and lack of restaurant workers restaurants must strive to keep theirstandards high. Maybe a ban on piercings is not a bad idea when you are preparing and serving food. I am shocked to think howthe nose ring became dislodged and in my food. Read more

Very nice place for dinner and a cocktail. Fully stocked bar and food is top notch. The servers and staff are welcoming and... attentive to all your needs. Took my grandma and had a great time. The atmosphere gives off an Italian cozy restaurant, verycharming! Recommend the scallop stir fry, French dip and of course their cheese curds made with sharp white cheddar. The bestcheese curds in Wisconsin some say! The old brick building, cozy booths and cocktails are the perfect combination for a greatdinner. Read more

I waited a long time to dine here. The French onion soup was divine and the rest of my meal was just as good. It was paired with... an old fashioned. I only wish I had had room for dessert! Read more

Not the best breakfast food I've ever had, but I think it's mainly an issue with the texture. I ordered a taco skillet and found... the meat to be a bit too greasy for my liking. The food was good, just felt a bit too mushy for my tastes. I do see a lot ofgood potential and think I need to try a dinner option the next time. Service was great, however! Read more

I've eaten here 5 times so far. Its just incredible. Start with drinks, then dinner rolls, then choice of soup or tomato... juice, then salad, then your entrée and side. These photos don't do justice to the actual size of these three steaks. Theywere at least 2" thick. These were the Roxy Cut which is 22 oz. I had the veal Oscar and got 2 huge pieces of veal with tonsof "Oscar" topping. Read more
