They don?t have an outdoor liquor licence, so the tastings are done inside kind of a sad space with weird uptempo radio music.... The staff person was on their phone until we started the tasting, they didn?t tell us anything about the wines as we went along,and weren?t bothered with anything other than asking us what next. Great winery and wonderful ciders. Has a petit verdot which is unique and worth trying. Enjoyed their gruner vetsteller? And... gewurtz as well. But overall wines are ver good. Also a beautiful patio. Read more
The worst service in the valley. What a joke. So unpleasant and cold. First, we didn't get a greeting. She was very rude to the... customers in front of us that only had USD. The vinyard is called boarder town and you won't take American money??? So wedecided to leave and her parting words where "What, you're not going to try anything?" Popped in for a tasting. Didn't find the person behind the counter to be particularly engaging but we're there for the wine... right? The wine is good with a good price point. So, I would say drop in, have a taste, and if you like it, buy some. Read more
Great tasting wine with an excellent selection. Unfortunately the staff were not very friendly and no water was provided during... the tasting, which was also unexplained. The wines were simply put down and we were left to figure out which were which. Wepurchased a couple of bottles but won't be back for tasting again. Read more
The Bordertown Winery has a great location and the staff are very helpful with a friendly tasting experience. The pricing of... their products is very competitive and fair.
