Been there 6 times in the last several months. I really want to like them. Service is always great. The wait staff... fantastic. The steaks I have had there have been wonderful although 3 of the 6 times overcooked badly. But I try not to letthat sway me as they still tasted great. Once got a long hair in my salad. Twice my wife has gotten a seafood dish that wasclose to turning or in fact turned. We are probably shying away from them for awhile. But do encourage people to try them forthemselves. Read more
First of all everything is market value. In other words over priced! Then with a party of four we all ordered the Porter house... steaks! Mine was to be medium as this is how I order my steaks all the time. When I get it, it is well done. So I asked thewaitress to return the steak she took it back and then I guess the manager or the lady behind the bar I should say, brings itback abs says " look at that steak, it is medium, it's your sauce that's making it look well" and refused to let me haveanother! It was four of us and mostly all Steaks were market price??? Then for the price we paid they should have better cooks, I had a... well done and it was charred so hard that it tasted burnt and was extremely dry. I was not happy, even though they had adisclaimer that I did not see, that said they were not responsible for well done Steaks, who says that at a fine dinningrestaurant. I do NOT recommend for the price they charge. My husband ask for a medium done steak and they brought back almost awell done steak and when he wanted another steak cooked the way he wanted the head chef came out with the same plate and triedto convince him it was the way he wanted, stating maybe it was the steak sauce...REALLY..So my husband kept the food in fearthey may do something to the steak if given another one. Who tells a customer their food is cooked the way they wanted and,didnot try and accommodate. If I could give this overpriced nasty steaks a 0 this would be accurate. Let's start with the best parts of this place. Its a nice cozy hometown steakhouse. Staff are extremely polite. Prime rib was... the best prime rib I've had. It was well seasoned and juicy. Double baked potato has a parmesean outer crist and it wasdelicious. Scallops could have been seared on the ends and seasoned better. If you have certain standards for your seafood Iwould pass on this dish. Salads were ok, the cucumber the served was definitely old, I feel the the salad and tomato wereborderline expired. Ordered the saganaki and you could tell this wasn't served often. The waitress lit the brandy and allowedthe flame to continue until the brandy was gone. Downside to that is the saganaki was burned on the outside. She should have litthe brandy then extinguished the flame with the slice of lemon juice. All in all it was an ok place. Next time I'm only orderingthe prime rib and double baked patoto. Read more
Woody?s was quite crowded. My server was very kind. I went here planning to get steak but decided to get a full rack of pork... ribs instead because the market prices for all while steak cuts was about 50% higher than listed prices on menu photos. My ribsnice and tender, but I did not love the onions in the barbecue sauce. The spinach salad was good. The baked potato was somewhatsoggy. Read more
Perfect place for small family diner or few friends. This place offers good value and service for money. Came hungry but... couldn't finish my steak had to take it home. Customer service is great, as the food and the atmosphere. Expect some wait timedepending on what you're ordering, in the meantime just chill and enjoy some appetizer. The set up is pretty basic but decent.Nothing extravagant. Thought for a moment if the interior is meant for older visitors. I imagine some extra deco may appealbetter for the younger generation too. Nonetheless nothing in particular that stands repulsive to any age group. I also thisbusiness isn't necessarily to have too many people over at once, as the toilet won't allow for more than one or two people tovisit at a time. WIFI? Forgot to test that part. However it will be better to have some internet since things aren't that cheapon the menu anyway. First time there in 2019 to celebrate my engagement, fun being there with my wife last night. Decided to try this place for my birthday yesterday evening. The customer service was terrible. Staff wasn't friendly. The... spinach salad was wilted. The imitation crab that's served over steak and orange rough was horrible. My best friend orderedseafood pasta the scallops were imitation as well. I was not thrilled with this place. Read more
