This is the 3rd time that we went to Mc Donald?s in Ottawa and 1st time they had locked the door after our friends had gone... inside. 2nd time we got inside and were told they are not taking orders inside and last night same thing: no orders were takenand after we entered the doors were locked so our friends could not get in. Takes them atleast 40 minutes to give you food. You're better off driving to Lawrence and ordering at McDonald's there because... ottawa McDonald's Is the slowest "fast food" here. Read more

This place frustrates me. It sucks the meaning out of "fast" food. After waiting in line forever to place an order through the... drive through you then pay at one window pick up your drinks at the other and then were instructed to drive to the other side ofthe building to wait for our food. You could be waiting anywhere from 2-10 minutes before the staff member brings out your food.Even then something is missing or the order is wrong or I have ordered and paid for something for the staff to come out and saythey were out of what I ordered. Absolutely awful service time. We came in ordered one happy meal a big mack meal a double quarter pound meal and a large fry... with 2 apple slices. It took the restaurant 38 minutes to fill our order. When we open our bag we had cold fries that were soggyand had no salt on them. Our burgers were cold it's like they made it and set it to get cold. If I wanted to get food hot andfresh and have to wait almost 40 minutes for it I could have went out to an actual restaurant. McDonald's 10/01/2022 | 10:40 PM Princeton Circle Dr & 23rd Ottawa, KS Issues: Service Refusal I'm not sure what has been going... on at this location. But the last few months there's been staff changes, or new management or something, but the service andquality has DROPPED 10 fold. 1: First Impressions: POOR. Arrived at the location at 10:45 PM in order to get food for thefamily. Waited in line since arrival and right at 11:00PM the lights were shut off. Continued waiting in line where others weresitting. Eventually cars got tired of waiting and left the location. Come to find out, as SOON as the store lights went off, allthose who were in line were refused service with the statements that "Sorry, we're closed" with the excuse of "We're shortstaffed". Keep in mind these cars that left were there BEFORE the store closed. Shorthanded or not, you get an employee, findout who was last in line at the closing mark, and serve them. 2: Employee Attitude: EXTREMELY POOR. The staff lately has beenrude, impatient, and even down-right condescending. I get that they may be tired and overworked, but something needs to be doneand done fast. If you're that short of staff, get people from other locations to work there, hire staff or if all else fails,close the lobby or even the damn store itself. 3: Employee Cleanliness: Don't know, refused service because they closed while Iwas in line and waiting. 4: Food Quality: -- NONE ---- Wasn't able to get food because, even though I was there before theyclosed, they refused to serve me even though I was already in line before the store closed. 5: Food Quantity: NONE. We 9/10 get curbside pickup. And 9/10 of the time it takes about 15-30 minutes to get our food. So not great. I called one time... because it was going on 33 minutes and the employee was really rude and said the online orders get bottom priority so she justgot to it now. Which is weird because a couple different fast food joints I've worked at has online orders #1 priority and hasto be ready in 6 minutes. But whatever. I will say the fries are always piping hot when we finally get our food. So I try reallyhard not to go there because I don't want to wait forever to get my food when I'm trying to get dinner/lunch fast. Read more
