Love this place. Good food. Outstanding service.
Sadly came in on Saturday afternoon, and obviously and admittedly they were short staffed..not crowded at all..I think they... had one waitress, a busperson, and maybe a cook..strange, as they appeared to have a full service liquor and beer bar....wepolitely left before being waited on. Having recently moved from the east coast, I have been trying to find great, locally-owned places to eat in a land of franchises... and chains. Unfortunately, Henry?s will not be one of them. We tried eating there at around 3:30 PM. There were people in lineto be seated and a few picking up their orders. I don?t know if that was busy for them. While standing in line, I was absolutelyshocked at how rude the older woman with the bleached blonde hair who was behind the bar was speaking to the senior customer inthe front of the line. The old woman was trying to order something with what seemed like a voucher. The customer was askingabout the dish she was about to order and the worker rudely said ?I?m really busy, so this is going to have be fast.? The olderwoman looked embarrassed and tried to order a second dish, and was yelled at again and told she could only get one per day. Evenif this was the policy, the disrespect and demeaning behavior was completely unnecessary. We turned around and left before beingseated. I?ve worked hospitality my whole career and I know that even if you?re understaffed, busy, or not feeling well, youNEVER take it out on the customer. I don?t care if that worker was the only one running the floor that day (she wasn?t, as thepeople who came in behind us were seated before us by another woman, but we were fine waiting) you treat every customer withpatience and respect, and if service is slow, you just apologize to the next customer. I will never give Henry?s my business aslong as they are comfortable having a host/bartender/whatever she was who is so blatantly rude to someone who is old enough tobe my grandmother. I also will encourage my staff, friends, and coworkers to eat elsewhere. Read more
First time here from out of town very busy place for lunch on a Monday afternoon menu size is ok I thought the prices was kind... of high for what u got for food pie was good fresh homemade. Overall ok hometown restaurant. Read more
Pam did great serving our group of 23 on a Saturday evening. We had called ahead for reservations, but our party trickled on... over about a half hour, but she took our orders in a timely manner. The food actually arrived an hour and a half after ourreservation time! That was tough on my pregnant daughter and on my grandkids. Pam happily split or bills accurately. Everysingle payer I spoke to was very pleased with the reasonable prices. We had no alcohol in our group, so I can't speak to that.Without buying sodas, my family of 6 got out the door for $56. We went here for dinner on a Fri evening and it wasn't very busy. My husband and I ordered the salad bar only. And let me just... say it totally wasn't worth $10 they didn't have any meat on it. And there was only cheese and egg and like 2 other toppingoptions to choose from. And I tried the chili and it was very bland had no flavor even after putting a bunch of salt and pepperon it. We probably will not return here for dinner again. Not worth the drive from Findlay. Read more
