The Afghan Wrap is AMAZING, but the service and restaurant itself are not as great. Also prices listed on their online menu... (from years ago) are no longer accurate. When ordering from this location. I requested the lamb, 1 family of 3 meal with Qabeli rice and 6 Mango drinks. However the... cashier punched in two Family of three meals instead. With cheaper meat as he had stated. I highly recommend you avoid thislocation. The barrier of English makes it difficult for the cashier to comprehend what you are explicitly stating. I requestedthe meat be changed to lamb for one of the family of three. I provided a tip of $28.28 and the refused my request even though atip was provided. Ambiance: I have been visiting this exact restaurant (building) for the last 15 years. What I mean by that is I have seen the... different changes of cuisines & businesses. The restaurant has been renovated over the years. It is now called Ariana KabobHouse. There are booths along the wall, the large windows which are meant to be opened during the summer time to create a patiolike feel. I have to say, in their effort to be more modern, the cultural authenticity of the place which made it unique is notthere. Service: I believe this restaurant is now under new management. I could hear the other patrons in the restaurantcomplaining that the service was different. Here is the thing about this place. You go, pay for food and not ambiance orservice. You find your own seat, once the food is ready, they will bring it over but that's the full extent as to the service.If you require anything else, you must get up and ask for it. Food: They were out of some items on the menu. Chicken Tandoori,the portions were large and the chicken was flavorful. The chicken tandoori sandwich was equally tasty with exception to thefries which were basic. The beef kabob was tender and juicy. The rice was cook to perfect as well. We did have to request sauceson the side as it was a little dry. Overall, the food is tasty, the portions are great. Read more
I ordered the lamb kabob off of Uber eats because I tried their food before from the altavista location and it was so good, but... this time the rice was terrible. Undercooked, it tasted moldy and off, there was very little meat and not even on the kabobstick. Also there was waaay too much rice like, legit 2 or 3 cups of rice that was terrible tasting, and barely any sauce. Read more
My first time having Afghani food and I was very pleased... great flavors, very nice rice, soft chicken kabob and the... traditional bread was really fresh (straight out of the oven), I was overwhelmed with the service too! Excellent spot, I'll comeback again! Read more
Really enjoyed my first visit here this evening! The food was delicious, portions were very generous, and the service was fast... and friendly. No matter what you get, try the homemade hot sauce - it was so good! Definitely recommend this spot. Read more
