Always good food at Cafe Orient. I?ve dined at Cafe Orient multiple times. Their shanghai dumpling is a must have, along with... some other dim sums! Their fish fillet with creamy corn was very delicious, I would recommend to others. Read more
My husband and I loved this place. amazing customer service and delicious food for vegetarians! Waitresses were two old ladies... who were very attentive to our order and asked us about allergies. They were quite busy only 2 waitresses but made sure everyone gets proper care. Also their toilet has this auto seat cleaner which was impressive to me as I have not seen suchthing in restaurants washrooms though I felt the hook for female washroom was missing to hang bags or anything. Dim Sum was pretty good however the service is really where this establishment shined. Our server went above and beyond to... accomodate our 2 year old. They really know how to treat their customers well. All the dishes we had were finished with pleasureand of particular note, it was our first time hearing about Savoury Triangles which we tried. Very tasty and would order againhowever a bit sweet if you don't like any sweetness. Read more
Cafe Orient serves Hong Kong style Chinese food. I've been coming here for years. I really do enjoy their wide selection of... dishes to try from. I have many pictures but not sure where the rest are but I'll update with more pictures since I know I willbe back. Plenty of parking, normally don't have to wait as they have enough tables from my experience. They also serve dim sumhere. I have too many favourite dishes so I would recommend you to try everything on the menu once and see what you like. Read more
Cafe Orient reminds me of the Toronto Chinese restaurant scene. The food here really brings me back to good Chinese food. If you... are ever around, it is worth your time to stop by for a bite. The staff are really nice and the food is really good. The pricesare pretty good for Ottawa. Very family friendly, groups of friends or even alone. The food is always great here. The servers are friendly and attentive with your orders/request. We?ve never left this place... disappointed with the quality of their food - especially with it being very affordable. They have dim sum order menus availableas well. I only wish their wasn?t such a strong odour while sitting there to dine, hard to describe but it?s very close to thesmell of moth balls mixed with the smell of a public washroom. This was really only noticeable the last 2 times we?ve came here- hopefully it?s gone now. Read more
