Really great value for money and tasty too. I ordered one of their falafel wraps with a side fattoush salad and it was... delicious. Great portion if you?re hungry and feel like having something healthy. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, andthe staff is friendly. Read more
Very tasty food for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend it. Service though needs a bit of improvement. Lady at the front... taking orders did not know they were out of several pretty essential items on the menu and had to come back to us several timesto ask for changes to our order. Also it was around 40 min to closing when we placed our order with no people inside. We satdown and waited for the order. It was prepared for take out even though we never asked for take out as we were hoping to sit andeat. We were told no inside dining 30 min before closing, this should have been communicated at the time of ordering.Anyway...small service hick ups but food and prices were very good and definitely will come back. The zatar wedges were SO GOOD. Fresh and crispy with great tasting spices. Stay away from the garlic sauce though. It has weird... consistency and doesn't taste much. The falafel sandwich was also good. Read more
Thanks so much Omar! My dad enjoyed the falafel sandwhich and the hummous. He said the fattoush was delish and the soup he said... was excellent (which is high praise coming from him coz he is so picky!!). I only have 4 coz we didn't dine in. This was my first stop when I arrived in Ottawa by bus. I went to Goodlife and then I walked 20 minutes to Chickpeas. I had to... try the vegan middle eastern restaurant. I was delighted by my falafel, potato wedges, pita and hummus. They gave me extrawedges because it was my first time. But it will not be my last. Read more
The salads were super fresh; the pomegranate dressing in the olive salad was vibrant and could've been sold on its own. The soup... was flavorful and soul-warming. The portions were very reasonable. For a fast-food joint, the service was impeccable... betterthan most table-service places. The staff clearly took pride in what they prepared for their clientele as they came to ask howwas the food, and you could see the beaming behind his mask when we told him. I come from a family of restaurant serviceworkers, and this is what the service industry is missing. Read more
