The food was very good! The mixed grill platter was beautiful to look at and the taste was exceptional, nothing gamey and the... spices were perfect. The only issue I had is that there the food was slightly on the cold side. We had to give back the soup andthe rice to be reheated. But the taste was really good! The desert was amazinh! Beautiful knafee and a great portion size. Theonly thing is that they served the knafee almost dripping with syrup. So if you arent a sugary eater I'd suggest asking for thesyrup on the side before ordering the knafee. Otherwise very nice and cheesy! We also ordered arabic ice cream! Huge hugeamount. 2 people wasnt enough to finish it all, We had to take the leftovers home. But the taste was phenomenal, full of arabiccotton candy and pistachio. Read more

Eyes were certainly bigger than the stomach on this visit! That said - there are no issues with the quantity and quality of the... food. The Labneh was awesome! Perhaps it was the time of day and this likely contributed to the quality of service and theoverall cleanliness of the restaurant. Looking around the restaurant it felt as though I had walked into a frat house afterSuper Bowl Sunday. Read more

It is the best restaurant in Ottawa for sure. The food is amazing, so vibrant tastes, colors and variations. This is Lebanon... restaurant offers not just shawarma and falafel. Here you will find traditional Lebanon meals crafted by experienced chefs withlove. The food is made fresh, we feel the difference. Their pita is made right there, it's served hot and so delicious.Paramaount prices are very affordable, we go here with the whole family and everyone have his)her favorite meal. Definitely, give it a try and you will find yourself willing to come back. Read more

Compared to all the shawarma places, this is the one with the best ambience. Food is really good, a little towards the pricier... end comparatively. But its completely worth it. Great serice, super clean area, clean washrooms, and a cozy environment. Musttry: Their rice and spicy potatoes. Read more

Went there for diner on a Friday night. Contrary to reviews, the service was fast. The food was okay not great. But the one... think that will take me back is the fresh bread and hummus. Was so good. Reminded me of my time in Israel. Read more

This is the first true "fine dining" style Arabic store I have experienced and it was a very pleasant evening spent there. The... food was on the pricier side but definitely understandable for the ambience and table service. Had a mixed grill platter andalthough the portions are not what you come to expect from shawarma stores, it was filling and quite tasty (the meats werecooked to perfection). Definately going back for the rice which was surprisingly the highlight of my evening, it was longgrained basmati rice cooked to perfection as well and flavoured just the right amount. Overall a great first impression, goingto go back to try the poutine next! Read more

Not worth the hype, food portion was super small especially for the price. Beef was burnt to a crisp and bread was stale.... There's much better and cheaper places in Ottawa Read more

Came here for dinner, and this place feels a little different. Normally, when I think of Lebanese food, especially a shawarma... spot, I think fairly small place, quick, reasonably priced, and tasty. So having a sit-down shawarma place is almost surreal. In the back they have an automated machine cutting meat of the spits instead of someone with a long knife. We both got thechicken & beef shawarma plate. It was a pretty generous portion of meat, with the smallest bit of garlic sauce and tahini on theside, and a couple small pieces of onion, pickles and turnip. It was served on half a pita bread which quickly got soggy fromthe meat sitting on it. Mine came with rice, which was a good sized portion, as were the fries. They also brought out freshlybaked pita bread, which was quite good. Their hummus was great as well. The service, the server I think was the only oneworking, but he was quite attentive and friendly. He accidentally brought us a beef shawarma plate and when we corrected him, heapologized and said the plate was ready, he just grabbed the wrong one and he would be right back. He went and dealt withanother customer who had an order for pickup before bringing our food back out, but when he did he apologized and told us hewould take 10% off for the inconvenience, which was very nice to have him acknowledge it without is saying anything, and thediscount was unexpected. He was even more attentive after that to make up for it, which it was a minor thing, but it made forvery good service. Everyone makes mistakes, and he handled it as well as anyone could ask. So, overall, the food was prettygood and portions were generous. The service was great, especially considering it is a new restaurant and they are still workingout some kinks in the systems. But I feel like for the price, it wasn't really anything exceptional, or special, that I couldn'tget for $5 less at another shawarma place, and would have about the same quality and portion size. The fresh pi Read more
