Fantastic meal. The service and staff were very professional and so friendly and welcoming. They had great suggestions and... checked in often to make sure our meal was good. The food was great, full of flavour, steak was well seasoned and cookedperfectly. The restaurant was very clean and has a nice atmosphere. Harmon's is on the high end of the price scale so have apeek at the menu before going. But I think it's an awesome place to go for a special occasion if it's in your budget. We'll beback. Read more
A delectable and delightful dinner experience in every way. The atmosphere was lovely, the wait staff excellent, and the food... service elegant and well coordinated. The food...a mouth watering and spectacular selection that tantalized our taste buds. Thank you for a superb evening with dinner with friends. This was my first, but definitely not my last visit . One of the best experiences we've ever had to a nice fancy dinner. We had Jessie as our server for tonight and it was such a... delight to have him serve us. The appetizers we had were delicious and unforgettable to the palate. I was so happy when I foundout that they have the foie gras... A must try is their Japanese A5 Wagyu Steak as this melts in your mouth like butter. Wealso tried the 12oz Ribeye steak that was 26 days dry aged. Steaks are seasoned perfectly but they also give you options to trytheir in-house sauces if your a person who likes to sauce your steak up. I enjoyed it with a bit of Nova Scotia grey salt. I ama grey salt fan. I only let my boyfriend season my steak with grey salt and pepper .. Overall experience was top notch. Theydefinitely didn't disappoint my boyfriend as he wanted to dine here since day one when we arrived from Toronto. A must visitrestaurant when your in Ottawa. P.S. I will start with how impressed we were with the service here. We had a wonderful server named, Jesse/Jessie (sorry if I?m... spelling it incorrectly) and he was an absolute delight. He really knows what?s he?s talking about when it comes to thedifferent types and cuts of steaks, wines/beverages, and just about every single item on their menu. Love the atmosphere. Verychic and classy vibe to the place. Everything from presentation, portions, taste/flavours was excellent. Definitely on thehigher end of fine dining, but still average for the types of steak cuts they have on their menu as compared to otherrestaurants offering the same. Our family of 5 all ordered different cuts of the Japanese Waygu and we cannot complain. Thebuttery softness, melt in your mouth texture - you just can?t beat. They offered us these delicious take homes that we heated inthe oven for 3 minutes and wow, the perfect pastry to go with your morning tea/coffee. We will definitely be returning andrecommending friends and family to this restaurant. Read more
Came here tonight for date night and it was a phenomenal experience! Service was great and our server kind and knowledgeable of... the menu. We ordered oysters rockefeller for an app and it was so tasty! We also ordered a dry aged strip loin steak and amushroom risotto along with a couple side dishes. Steak melted in your mouth and the risotto is one of the best ones I?ve everhad. Great vibes and highly recommend. Read more
Absolutely Amazing. They did a great job with the renovations. Modern touch while keeping with the historicness of the building.... And the service was incredible. So many restaurants are struggling to find not only help, but good help. Not sure how theypulled it off but yeah, the service was outstanding. Last but not least... The food was as we hoped for considering thisrestaurant is at the higher price point but worth it. Highly recommended. Nice to have such a great new restaurant in the city.Can't wait for their patio too this summer. Read more
Great Food. Great Service. I made a dinner reservation for me and my husband. Put a note in my reservation that it is our... anniversary. After we were seated, our servers greeted us with complimentary Champagne. It's for our "anniversary". We felt veryspecial. The staff are really nice. They keep on checking on us to see how we're doing. I had to go to the washroom and someoneeven guided me all the way to the washroom to make sure I'll find it easily. All the staff are very friendly and just gives usthe biggest smiles. One of our server even offered to take photos of us. I don't even have to ask for water cause they just keepon filling up my cup the moment it gets halfway full. We ordered a the Seafood tower for our appetizer. Australian GrassfedSteak & T-Bone Steak for our main. Brussel sprouts and Wagyu Tortellini for our sides. They were really good. The steak wascooked to perfection. The seafood tower is amazing. The Brussel Sprout is a must try. Oh! Their Sorbet is really delicious too.Peach Sorbet is the best! There's also complimentary morning buns to take home. Oh! I almost forget, the complimentary bread isalso amazing! Crunchy on the outside and super soft in the inside. Love this place. We had a great experience.
