Sorry, just not a great meal here. Had a congee which tasted overwhelmingly of white pepper, and our veggies/tofu on the side... were poorly done. Maybe we didn't order the right things for the style of cuisine, but just wasn't happy with it. Read more
Finally visited for the first time with the recommendation from my colleague! First impression was a little ?eh?? because the... building is quite old. As you get seated, you?ll feel a sense of authenticity and at-home kind of atmosphere. Service isexcellent, staff are very friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we ordered tonight (see photos). Portions are great andwas cooked authentically well! While I wasn?t able to celebrate the Lunar New Year with friends, nor able to share laughs, good food and well wishes for the... year ahead, I did want to take the opportunity to reflect on these great memories. I ordered some of my favourites (ahead oftime) and scheduled a pickup for later that day. No issues. Despite the challenges these days, the service was friendly. Great food, friendly staff, what a delight. Been trying to find a good Chinese food place for a bit and finally found one that... hit the spot. Ordered black pepper beef, Kung Po chicken, and Yangzhou fried rice. I was reading comments about how the friedrice was not flavorful and dry but I believe it was great. The food was salted and spiced well. Good flavors and large portionsbetween all the dishes. Will definitely come back again when I get my Chinese food craving. Read more
