Great service. But the food was just okay. The gnocchi I had was very bland.
After a week in Canada we had the best service at La Roma. Our server Holly, the bussers/food runners, and the bartender were... all so nice and anticipated our needs. They split our appetizer and even our after dinner drinks without us asking. Each coursewas delicious, especially the handmade pastas! We also enjoyed a half-off bottle of wine that they offer on Tuesdays. Theatmosphere was cozy and chic, exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend! Read more

We had a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was great. The zucchini fritters were amazing, with a very... nice and creamy sauce. The fazzoletti were to die for. Homemade pasta, stuffed with ricotta and spinach, and with parmigiano andmozzarella cheese with a tomato sauce. The cannolis were simply a taste of heaven, and the tiramisu was good too. Overall, thefood was very very good. However, the ambiance and atmosphere were not to our liking. It was extremely loud inside, to the pointyou had to shout to hear the person across the table. It was also very very cold inside, colder than outside. In addition tothat, our original outside table was not covered and it started raining, so we had to move in. We passed by this place during the Italian festival, and they were kind enough to fit us in as walk ins. They had a modified... menu for the Italian festival. We had the ceaser salad, zucchini fries and calamari for starters and they were all very good.When it came to mains our server got things mixed up, so there was a bit of a delay but even the dishes weren?t as good. Thepesto cream pasta was pretty oily and to be honest couldn?t taste the cream it was mainly pesto! Our server after the mix up notsure why she was upset never offered us parmesan chess we had to ask for it and we felt wasn?t as nice! We had to ask anotherwaiter to pass us some salt and pepper! We were a group of four who all agreed that our dining experience was exceptional. Food was fresh and tasty. Each dish had all... the ingredients of farm to table. There was something on the menu for everyone and prices were reasonable. Wine list was filledwith a variety of options at all price points. The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant and comfortable. We stayed about threehours and felt relaxed like we were at home.
