Literally and honestly one of the worst restaurants in Ottawa! Had a stop there after seeing the good reviews and ordered a very... light meal and it took them more than an hour to make the food ready! The restaurant was very crowded and the staff asked us tochange our table because they weren’t able to place a big family with whatever they had in the venue. Omg! The restaurantwasn’t clean and the restroom was awfuly dirty…! While being there waiting to have our food ready, I’ve seen a lot of skipthe dish and Uber eats drivers waiting for a long time to get the orders. While giving the order, the person on the front toldus they sold out the rice but I’ve seen them serving the rice to the family came 30 mins after us- we were amazed and such ashame! Their ventilation system wasn’t working properly and smoke all over the place! With the customers that they have Iunderstand that working for them would be a overwhelming but I overheard employees fighting together which made us veryuncomfortable. Food finally came in after quite a long time… and the quality was of average. I am a foodie person and lovemiddle eastern cuisines but will not visit this place ever again! Read more
This place was amazing, super cute spot and the aesthetic is super nice, we celebrated a birthday and they went above and... beyond, the decorated and added balloons which was so nice of them. Staff was always checking up on us making sure w head enoughto tables and chairs and asking if we needed anything. The food was good and the prices are amazing compared to other places. I can't say enough good things about this hidden gem. I haven't had charcoal BBQ like this in Ottawa in the past 2 decades. I... took the family platter, that has all the various skewers. since the place is small, best to do a takeout. The setting could usea facelift, but then again it's the food in these sort of gems that have you returning.I hope they continue with their taste andquality for years to come. Read more
Edit: the owner offered to remake the meal & it tasted delicious! The owner Muhammad was very kind & accommodating & ensured our... lamb chops were well done this time. Will be visiting again & would definitely recommend this restaurant & excellent customerservice!! Yummy Chicken skewers & fresh hummus too! Ordered lamb chops & chicken skewers with salad. Placed an order from this place the mixed platter came with beef and chicken fries and some veggies. The portion is not too big... but the price is more than reasonable 16$ plus tax . The food was very tasty and you get pita with it . I would definitely tryother stuff and order again . I recommend! Read more
Last time we ordered mixed grill. It was juicy, tender and well seasoned. I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s very clean... and their prices are reasonable. It’s the best middle-eastern BBQ in Ottawa and Gatineau. Don’t forget to order hummus andgarlic on the side ;) Read more
The charcoal grill makes it even better, but the quality of the meat and chicken (and portions) are amazing! The workers are... beyond amazing! In and out, absolutely loved everything about this hidden gem! Absolutely delicious with huge portions. The price is sooooo inexpensive. Our group was shocked by the amount of food for the... price. The food was outstanding. The meat had flavour with good amount of smokiness, it was also very tender and juicy. I'm justin complete shock. Will definitely order again. Read more
