We’ve Landed in Ottawa airport from Calgary in a beautiful Fall afternoon; we asked at our hotel what’s the best Italian... restaurant in town? to which they’ve replied: Mezzanotte Bistro is the best italian restaurant around here; we are gratefulthey were not wrong!!! We enjoyed every minute of it, starting from the moment we walked into the place, beautiful and tastefuldecor, we were greeted by our waiter Khalid who gave us the best service ever! Followed by an Amazing wine and superb Italiandishes; we thank the chef and the staff for a lovely evening experience. We Definitely recommend Mezzanotte Bistro a hundredpercent! Carol was our server tonight and she was top notch. Ask for her. We walked in after the Truth and Reconiliation events on a... whim. I brought my mom as she is visiting from NL. The food was AMAZING. Lovely place to dine. I came here the other night and everything was great. Our waitress was lovely and very kind, and the food... was good. The only thing that keeps this from a 5 star review is the massive portions of food we weren’t warned about. Weordered 2 appetizers and 3 mains and dear god, the arancini appetizer could have been a meal in itself. We were overwhelmed bythe amount of food we had, but it was very tasty non the less. First time in this restaurant and definitely last one. The waitress said our transaction was declined and we paid with different... credit card. Later we checked we have been charged twice!!
