I often dine in at this location with my family on weekends. I have noticed that there has been a huge decline in the quality of... food they?ve serving, service wait time and staff behavior! The salad that we ordered weren?t fresh, we ordered big garlic platebut they brought us a small one-even after notifying them, they didn?t change it-, waitress at the counter forgot that weordered drinks and she wasn?t giving us the drink either! After quite a few times of reviewing the orders, she finally gave usthe drink that we paid for!!!! Please take the receipt with you just in case! Halal Chicken in Ottawa. I go there whenever I crave some chicken and this place consistently delivers tasty foods. Several... options in the sides to choose between. You can also get platters. The have both canned pops and freestyle drinks. I personallylove the freestyle one because you can get plenty different flavors as u want. The staffs are good and friendly and alwaysresponds to your needs. But they can make the environment better by some renovations as the place looks very old and uncared. Read more
My first visit to this location....I have visited other Nando's locations around Toronto.... The location in Ottawa was really... great.... The decor was good.... In keeping with the African / Portuguese theme of this restaurant chain's origins.... Thebackground music helped to maintain this environment.... The food was outstanding.... First time going to this store. Overall, I thought the food was really good. I had the portobello and halomi cheese for dinner... and hummus as the appetizer. The sandwich was excellent with the mango and lime sauce. I highly recommend. The hummus was tohave peri peri sauce, but it was not spicy at all. The service was okay. Food brought hot, silverware. Restaurant is always full so better make reservations prior to your visit. I really like their chicken and usually order the... bucket but this time I ordered the sides too which were kinda disappointing. They should add more sides options other than justpotatoes. Read more
Well, who doesn't know Nando's with their famous recipe and sauces. The service is great, the employees are very friendly and... attentive and definitely the food is very tasty and been served within 15 minutes. My only down star is for the restaurantitself and decorations. The place obviously needs some maintenance as it looks a bit outdated. But our overall experience wasgreat and definitely we're coming back. Read more
Excellent chicken experience for the price, affordable meals for the whole family ???? easily accessible location with under... ground parking across the street expensive though if you aren't walking. It was okay. I was told if dining in you are placed at a table they bring you water, then go up to the counter to order and... pay. They deliver the food but you have to go to another area to get your utensils and table additions. The staff were infriendly. The atmosphere is beige.
