What happened to this place !!!!!! I?m extremely disappointed with what I was served !!! For Over 15 years I have eaten from... this place ! Something has changed ?. There is no way this is the original owner ! I?m absolutely disgusted with what I wasserved ? not only was the price drastically increased which should have been a clue but the rice was hard and cold ?. Egg rollsburnt ?.. chicken balls are completely different.. there was literally 2 pieces of chicken in my general Tao ! You guys aredestroying this establishment! Very disappointed. Been coming for years but the original owner either sold it, retired, passed away or handed it down to his... son a while ago. The quality has gone downhill. Portions are smaller, quality is not what it used to be yet prices have gone upquite a bit. They're overcharging for what you get. Sorry but you've lost a very long time customer. There are better optionsout there. For those looking for better quality and better prices try Chips and Dairy further down Bank Street. And to theowner: charging $30 for 12 egg rolls that are greasy, burnt and have been deep fried one too many times is outrageous. Read more
Great food, great flavor. Perfect perportion of food in combo plate. #6 is my favorite. Egg rolls are excellent.
Quick and easy this restaurant has been an icon in this area for many years. They have the hands-down best eggrolls and no... matter how busy they are and will always have your food ready at the exact time they tell you. (Unlike many others that willtell you last time but you find yourself waiting for your pick up order.) slightly on the pricier side for quality andpreparation is fantastic portions are good and selection is ample. Egg rolls are very good, everything else is just ok, and prices are a bit expensive. Service was friendly though. General Tao... chicken was mostly breading. Beef & vegetable was mostly vegetables and barely any beef. I would recommend trying the egg rollsbut the dishes aren't that special. Read more
ruby has the best eggrolls!!! I also have to add this has got to be my favorite restaurant for Chinese food in Ottawa. I... absolutely love their customer service. I ordered my favorite shrimp and lobster sauce which is with delicious flavors. Theshrimp are huge and cooked to perfection. The combination plate is so big in proportion. I especially love the spare ribs theyare exceptionally tasty. I so appreciate that the food is fresh rice is Fluffy and it's well worth the wait as I did order fordelivery. Be prepared to have your mouth water as I am also attaching pictures. Read more
