These humans deserve the best shwarma restaurant title. My husband loved his chicken, my son loved the beef and my parents, who... both had the chicken and never had eaten shwarma, absolutely loved theirs!! The falafels were one of the best, and I've eatenthem across this country!!! True to culture, the meals were absolutely huge, with both rice, your choice of white or brown, thebest little fried potatoes and an incredibly large salad. We took home almost another entire meal in take it left overs. Thehummus and garlic sauce were delicious and definitely had the taste of freshly homemade. When it comes to shawarma in Ottawa, competition is fierce and Shawarma Palace puts up a mean fight. Amazing portions of... perfectly cooked shawarma meat sleeping on a bed of rice and heavenly garlic potatoes slathered with tahini and garlic sauce youwill definitely leave satisfied. This location is pretty nice and neat. Their chicken shawarma is solid as well as the kafta. It?s really tasty and delicious.... Unlike Rideau location, this one is organized and staff is professional. Quantity is really good and the plate is full. Only thegarlic sauce is a bit heavy, the hummus is a lot better. One of the best shawarma places in Ottawa. The food portions were more than enough for one person, in fact two people can share... one dish. The food presentation was appetizing. Almost always delicious and talk about the gigantic serving. A platter usually takes me 3-4 meals to finish. The proteins are... sometimes old and hard when I order from them. Their falafel is very nice as well. Good food! Read more

Even their mini donuts were pretty good, but don't forget to order the caramel saucewith it. Good food but I had to wait 15 minutes as I ordered the shish kabob plate. And when I got it home I found the kebabs were burnt.... At least it was fresh tho, and excellent except for the blacked nits. I've never had food burnt at the Rideau location where Igo regularly. I have rated that location as 5 stars, Bank St. only gets 4 stars for now. Read more
