Taking a trip all the way from Newfoundland to have the best authentic Thai food in Ottawa that I had been missing for year, and... finally found a place where I could hearty say they serve ?food from home?! The welcoming decoration and super friendly staffreminded me of home. Food, itself, my goodness?it was the full huge portion of the taste of Thailand ???????? with reasonableprice. My nephew and I dined here for his birthday dinner! The ambience of the restaurant is great and the staff are a delight! The... food was very flavourful, hot, and came out quickly. The service is good; the waitresses are attentive but not overly. There isa higher emphasis placed on takeout. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great Thai food- addedbonus there is plenty of parking in the area! Read more
The service was excellent. The shrimp spring rolls were excellent. I ordered pad thai with chicken. I didn't enjoy this... version, but that is me. First time since Covid...nicely renovated. Stirfry basil shrimp with rice was too sweet as usual. Previously asked the waitress... to tell chef to make it less sweet but was told that's the chef's style and many customers ask for the same but the chef sticksto his usual way of cooking. Coconut spicy soup with shrimps was wonderful. Chicken pad thai (lunch) was surprisinglyfilling...wonder what kind of oil they used. Very good, would definitely dine here again. Some dishes were not as spicy as I would have imagined but there is always an... option to add more spice to the dish. Our server was extremely attentive and amazing. She noticed that my mother was notdrinking any of iced water and went out of her way to bring her hot water (water of choice).
