The quality is good, the portions are small for the price range. They charge an upscale price and I can respect that. But to... serve me my curry in a takeout container with packaged plastic cutlery ruins the entire experience. I want to feel like I'm at asit down place, not Thai express. Let's not forget that the staff was very short with me and also never came to check how mymeal was. Basically a "here's your stuff eat it and go" mentality. I feel disrespected. Read more

Food was excellent, but restaurant and price were disappointing. Price was too high for basic meal of spring roll appetizers and... stir fry. Not picking on this restaurant in particular as this is becoming the norm everywhere. It doesn't seem sustainable, plus the default tip asks starting at 18% are becoming an irritant and deterrent to dining out. Read more

Sometimes I have good experiences here but sometimes I don't. I ordered the calamari last time and I got small portion of it... mixed in with lots of vegetables. It doesnt say on the menu that it comes with vegetables, so I was disappointed. I do liketheir spice level. Read more

The food on Social Thai is the best Thai food I've ever eaten. My favorite foods are pad thai and vegetable spring rolls. You... should go to Social Thai!! Read more

OH MY GAWD SO GOOD! Fresh, delicious, and flavourful! I'm so glad I ordered this food. It made me really happy. I got Tom Kha... soup (Thai spicy) and pad thai (spicy) and the spicy was perfect. I will definitely be ordering again. The take out window isfantastic! I'm excited to order from it in the winter! The only constructive feedback I have would be cutlery (chopsticks and asoup spoon), and napkins with my take out order would have been appreciated, but the food was delicious nonetheless Read more

Good but not great. We ordered the pad kao with beef, the chicken green curry, the chicken pad see ew, and the shrimp pad thai.... The flavours were good but just seemed to lack some oomph, as if there was something authentic missing. The pad thai wasprobably the best dish of the four. We ordered everything but the curry mild and would ramp up the spice level next time. Read more

The tastiest family-owned Thai restaurant in Ottawa with the friendliest people serving up some fantastic Thai food! Their Pad... See Ew is really good. If you want to try something a little different, you can?t go wrong with their Kimchi Pad Thai! Theirdining room is no longer open but they have the cutest walk-up window for take out orders and they have two large patio tablesin front of the store. Read more

I came across this takeout window and expected something refreshing to delight my evening. Yet I was disappointed with the... quantity and taste. Spent 40 dollar for 13 slices of thin beef and similar quantity of chicken chunks, half of which are offingertips size, I barely fed myself full. Taste wise, not aligned with my memory of authentic Thai food. It?s too sweet to mytaste. Read more
