The folks running this restaurant are great! They had the patience to take the orders of my 3 kids, getting it all right and... then helping them navigate the soft drink machine while I paid. All employees at this location severely lack customer service skills. Always put minimal toppings. Have been overcharged here... more than once. The other day they tried to tell me that they aren't supposed to put veggies on the new meatball sub this is a$12 sub. Bread is often undercooked and cookies over cooked or stale. Very, very bad customer service. I managed to make my entire order and pay without any of the 3 employees there saying a single... word to me. They are very stingy with toppings and purposely makes the subs sloppy. But the food itself tastes good so thatsaves them from a 1 star.. Read more
Updated 8/22/18: On my next visit I chatted with one of the managers and he said that they were closed last Friday early because... of an inspection. Just a one time thing and should not happen again. I have updated my review accordingly and to reflect theotherwise very good service and food at this location. Staff are always quick and show a good sense or urgency to get your ordermade. Still my favorite Subway downtown. Original review: Closed at 8:26pm on Friday? What??? Staff still inside cleaning up.Hours state until 10. However when they are open they are my preferred one on Bank St. Not the friendliest bunch but tastesbetter than other ones in centre town. One of my favourite Subways in Ottawa! The restaurant is always clean despite being a busy downtown location. Also, the staff... are super friendly. Great lunch spot if you work on Bank street in Center-town between Nepean Street and Gilmore. My go-to forlunch during the week! Read more
The Asian man who is I think the manager is very rude. He barely puts any toppings on and when I asked for extra mayo he gave me... a dirty look. It is not the first time I've had horrid service at this location. But it will be the last. Steer clear of thissubway if possible. Read more
