A cozy quick place for some decent texmex. The burrito and guacamole were both good. Chips were ok. Rice was undercooked and... beans bland. But there was lots of very fresh ingredients. It?s window service, with picnic tables and some semi shaded tables.Service was fast. We went with kids and it was good for that. Read more
Tacos are mediocre, nothing authentic but if you wanted to satiate your taco craving like me, then I would say this place might... not disappoint you for the time being. I got the fish taco, which came with salsa, lettuce, and a tiny fried fish. They haveother sauces on the side, nice sitting area to grab a quick bite. Just had Tacolot tacos for the first time and let me tell you's.....The service was excellent but the fish tacos were the best... fish tacos I've had in in the City of Ottawa. While some of us seek out great taste, some of us also love authenticity and thesewere definitely authentic. Will visit again for sure and again and probably again.???? Read more
When I first walked in I was greeted by friendly staff who explained the menu to me. I ordered two steak tacos and upgraded to a... platter. The tacos were absolutely delicious. The steak was still pink on the inside and was delicious and tender. The rest ofthe toppings we're delicious as well. The rice and beans were okay but the side salad was top notch. On #NationalTakeOut day, the boy wanted was craving a burrito from the ?chain player?. I convinced him to stay local & we... visited. We weren?t disappointed. The menu is simple and straightforward. Had a pretty good experience here. It was a nice day and luckily, not too busy, service was fast and friendly. The tacos were... well made, but overall lacked a punch, really dry with no noticeable salsa. Fish was fried perfectly. Tortillas are mostlikely not house-made. Overall good tacos. The meat was tender and toppings were fresh. Definitely a messy situation to eat but tasty and satisfying.... We preferred the pulled pork ones over the chicken tacos, the meat was simply more flavorful. Read more
