I?ve tried red curry, it?s too creamy for me and the worst thing is I ordered jasmine tea and it didn?t say clearly the tea is... charged for each person. When I questioned the stuff, she thought it?s common. But why. This is my first time give only one starto the restaurant Read more

I ordered a Pad Thai to go and the food was, smelled and tasted burned. I asked for some sauce to be added on the Pad Thai but... it was very dry, maybe because of the fact that the food was burnt. Very disappointed. Inevitably, they knew it was burn so theyshould have redone it. Read more

We had take out and ordered to pick up at 5. All the dishes we tried were great. Portions are ok for the prices. I made some... sides so priceless it would end up being about 30 a person Read more

The Pad Thai was ridiculously sweet (like dessert sweet) and had almost no veggies. Soups were fantastic. Curries were pretty... good but basic. Nice ambience and straightforward service. A little on the pricey side for the serving sizes. Automatic 15%gratuity added on parties of 5+ (and pretty sure it was added on top of the tax). Read more

I've only ever had delivery or take out from this place. The Thai Red Curry is good and so are the spring rolls. The beef tends... to be a little overcooked but this was my favourite Thai restaurant until I found a new one that I prefer. Read more

Well, I love Thai Food and pretty much try it wherever I go. Talay Thai is ok. The summer fresh rolls get cut into small pieces,... which makes it super messy and hard to eat them because they fall apart. The service is good but the staff speaks hardly anyEnglish so asking anything, such as a lemon for your water is like pulling teeth. English is also not my first language so Ihave no problem with that. However, the server got really frustrated with me just for not understanding so it made the wholeexperience not as pleasant as it could have been. In the Pad Thai, the chef left the shell tails of the shrimp on, of course youcannot eat shrimp that way so while the food was steaming hot, before I could eat it, I had to ?de-tail? the shrimp. I burned myfingers and the Pad Thai was below average. The noodles way over cooked, the sauce way too msg dominated, the dishes havevirtually no veggies and egg. I have to admit, the Pad Thai was so challenging to eat, I did not finish, which is crazy becauseI love Thai food. Sorry Talay Thai, I wanted to like this place, but I left super disappointed. Meh! If you care aboutpresentation, fresh ingredients and on point cooking, I am afraid this is not the place, at least not for the dishes I discussedhere. Best of luck, but I will definitely not be back. Quiet and calming atmosphere, polite family owners and warm food. I have been 3 times for lunch, my fav is the combo platter.... Good price. But gets busy quickly. Read more
