Nice place with a great aesthetics. A little bit crazy busy on a Saturday night but if one is into that then it's a great spot... for it. I would probably like to come on a quieter weeknight and take in the atmosphere without wall-to-wall people. Read more
This place hasn't changed a bit. If you like old reliable? If you like a great patio This is your place. Elgin as far as I'm... concerned has declined even after the "Reno". It just doesn't have the Vibe it used to. There used to be an " energy" on Elginbut it just looks to be a shadow of its former self. Just being honest. Soul Food.....needs Soul! Read more
A great patio and a great choice of beers. They serve full sized 20oz beers too. I was expecting a British menu (as it's called... a British pub) but no chance, it was the typical North American menu with wings, nachos, etc. So we didn't eat. Read more
The Salmon Meal exceeded expectations! Highly recommend! Our server also took extra steps to get us dessert after the kitchen... closed! I was here some days ago and I had the bbq wings&fries, the Bbq wings tasted like it was over fried/too dry but I love the ranch... sauce dip it came with.....Our host (an elderly woman)was really friendly and suggested beers for my husband to try,I didnt gether name cause she was so busy waiting alot of tables. I rated 4stars cause of my chicken wings asides that everything else wasgood. Read more
The staff is very friendly and the food is served very fast. I loved this restaurant. The place is very large and they can host... a lot of people. In the summer there is service available at the terrace. I had the basil pesto sandwich and my mom the rib eyesteak sandwich. We both had soups on top of the sandwiches, and they were simply amazing. All the food we had was very tasty andrich. I would definitely come back for a beer in the summer or for another lunch anytime soon. I would recommend to anyonevisiting the city. Read more
This place is neat! I'd never been before, it's a bit of a maze which makes it all the more charming, with 3 or more bars all... tucked away into different corners of the pub. The food was rather decent, and the service was great. I'd like to back sometimejust for the semi, underground, cosy brick wall ambiance! Read more
