So much room for improvement ?? The chairs feel like cheap - uncomfortable patio furniture. $25 for a plate of chicken natchos... seems a bit above the market. And!, they didn't have a cocktail menu - given the name of the place that was disappointing. Read more

It's a new place (relatively speaking), and still it smells like beer. Had to go on a day that didn't involve my wheelchair,... because there is no access otherwise. Same holds true if you're on the ground level. To access the bathroom, you have to go downa set of stairs. Kind of tough to do in a wheelchair. It's nice they put a handicap button to get in and out of their place, butit's no good if you CAN'T EVEN TAKE A LEAK OK. THE PLACE. Kind of makes the button useless, doesn't it? Read more

Love this place but the music choice is always unpredictable at best. Willow and the deep play it's amazing. I went last night... and not only was it mostly rented out for a party it was also a poor band choice for their space Read more

We were pleasantly surprised to find this jazz bar in our neighbourhood! The live music was great (every Friday!) , the servers... were attentive and the food was better than we would have been served at a local pub. We will be back! Read more

Just came in off the street when the Royal Oak staff below was unresponsive, and what luck. First time - amazing time. The... layout was classy, laid back and comfortable; the drinks were delicious, in many ways unique and made perfectly; and, the foodwas amazing without it being too expensive (e.g. $35 steak but also a $18 homemade pot-pie and fries). After all that, tonightthey tested out the first of live Friday crooner nights - with Johnny Vegas belting out some classics. Just amazing. Read more

We had a lovely evening drinking cocktails and listening to a talented jazz duo. The nachos and charcuterie we're good, the... butter chicken seemed to satisfy those who ordered it. Service was friendly, but don't go here if you are in a rush, the serviceis a bit laid back. That suited us fine, though, as we were there for the atmosphere, music, and drinks. Read more

Arrived at 7, left at 11pm on a friday night. Very nice ambiance. Quieter atmosphere than Royal Oak downstairs . Nice loungy... feel. There was a nice guitar player playing soft music which was nice. Did not have cider on the menu therefor had to ordersomething else to drink. Opted for rhum which was good. We t the shrimp cocktail which was amazing and the brie dip which wasgood too but not enough bread to dip in. Around 10 pm, the music stopped. A silent dj duel started where u had to rentheadphones for 10$ to be able to hear any music. If u were not participation, the whole ambiance was killed. I did not want torent earphones and felt the concpt a bit weird .. it would be nice to at least have some back ground music for those who optedout of the headphone renting. I would go back another time with different company perhalps. Read more

The food and cocktails are amazing, but the opening hours are inconsistent/not published online. I was told two weeks ago that... they were open at 5:30 every day. Just tried to go tonight but was told by the staff at the Royal Oak that they're now closed onSundays. Publishing hours would be extremely helpful. I live in the area and I've tried to go 4 times and only once have I beensuccessful! I'd love to support them more but their hours seem to be a guessing game. Read more
