The taste of the food is decent but the options are limited compared to other restaurants. As for the price, it is not that... cheap neither. Around 30$ per person including tax and tip for dinner. Food is pretty good, selection is nice, atmosphere is pleasant. Was there on a tour with school, saw their kitchen too, it's... clean and well managed. They asked for dietary restrictions & allergies, I told them I'm kosher, they didn't know what it was soI just said no pork. The waiter told me to avoid every meat option so I asked another staff member who clarified what was porkvs beef vs chicken... They took me into the kitchen after and the head cook told me nothing there is kosher. No idea what thatwas about! Read more
This buffet-style restaurant has remained consistently good for many years. The servers are friendly and quick to take drink... orders. This is a good place for groups, and with a sufficiently large number you can book the entire lower floor. As with anyplace in the Byward Market, parking can be a challenge. Today was my first time at Tucker's & I really enjoyed it. I thought they had a great variety of foods to choose & everything I... had was great. I had no issues at all. Came for Sunday brunch. Great service. The food is good but I can't eat $22 worth of breakfast ($20 for meal + $2 for coffee).... Should anyone? My wife, nephew and mother-in-law seem to love this place, so I will probably be back for special occasions. Read more
