There are a total of 4 pizza????places within walking distance from my house and Willy?s Pizza is the only place I go to. They... are simply incomparable in terms of taste, speed, and freshness! If what you want is a really good classic pizza that manages tobe superb just with sauce, cheese, and dough alone, this place is just for you. I love getting their cheese pizza or one-toppingpizza with mushrooms because seriously that?s enough to satisfy my pizza cravings. Also the fact that they don?t do slices showthat they care about getting their pizzas hot and fresh for their customers! My last slice is always still hot!!! Plus theironion rings are bomb as well!!! Gotta try this pie! Grew up in the east end on Gabriel pizza. This is a whole different kind of great pizza. Honestly, it's... better and it's hard for me to say that. Stopped in for a quick pizza and chicken finger basket. Chatted with the owner while waiting. Very friendly very nice place. Was... only open for takeout (stupid c vid) went back in after eating in my SUV forgot to ask for napkins. Told the owner it was one ofthe best places I?d stopped on my trip to Ottawa! I hadn't ordered from Willy's in quite a while, so not sure if it has changed ownership. The pizza tasted different, not... horrible by any means, just not what I was hoping for especially since I was craving it. I'll probably not order again as itdidn't satiate the expectation. Read more
Got a medium 3 topping and wings special. Wings were good, freshly made and still juicy. Pizza was a disappointment. The reviews... all mention lots of cheese, but that was not our experience...even though we paid for extra cheese. The mushrooms were sliverthin, and offered nothing to the flavour. The pepperoni was the lunch meat kind. Not actual pizza pepperoni. The sauce on thepizza was good though, and the dough was fresh and crusty. The garlic dip was also a little lackluster. Not worth the price wepaid. *Edit* while their pizza and Wings definitely continue to disappoint, their other menu items have proven to be prettygood. They make a pretty decent sub, and good burgers.
