Amazing restaurant. The ambiance, the service and the food is just top notch. Every dish we had was delicious. The grilled meat... platter was our favourite, expensive, but worth it! We were two to share the platter along with two "entrees" and it was morethan enough food. The meat was perfectly cooked, good portions and amazing flavours. The rack of lamb stood out to me the most.It was our second time here and will definitely be back. Highly recommend! Read more
Damas is located in the heart of Outremont. This restaurant is one of a kind. The best of the best restaurants in Montreal with... delicious Syrian food and impeccable service. The prices are high but for good reason. Nothing compares to Damas, their food isfresh, delicious, and most of all memorable! The drinks were delicious and very original. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and everything was great. Each dish was... presented beautifully and tasted amazing. The quantity was more than enough as we brought back lots of leftovers. The sommelierwas super friendly and gladly answered all our questions. It's a bit pricey, but I would say the experience was worth it. Wewill definitely come back. Read more
Definitely a great place to try middle eastern food. We tried a few things, the cheese bureck and the lamb were AMAZING. Prices... are high and I think this is the main reason not to give 5 stars. Syrian food and middle eastern food and hospitality is knownto be generous welcoming and affordable. I realize that this is a high end place but it?s a bit too much. Also, if you choose toseat outside it?s definitely a different experience than sitting inside. The inside decor and atmosphere is way nicer. Outsideseating is on regular plastic chairs which is not appropriate to a place like this and the decor is minimal. Read more

A perfect meal and experience at Damas, as always. The cocktails are impeccable (especially the Ginger Rose Fizz), the dishes... are gorgeous and delicious, and the service is amazing. In particular, John was incredibly thoughtful in explaining the menu,recommending dishes, and selecting a beautiful wine for us. While the meal and restaurant are amazing unto themselves, it wastruly his service that made the experience so special. This was my first time here and it?s now my favourite restaurant in Canada. Excellent food and service! Highly recommend the... lamb (all of them)! For dessert I chose the ice cream because we had already eaten too much. I usually don?t order ice cream fordessert, but this time I didn?t regret about it. It was a really nice surprise. Read more
Absolutely a great experience. The tasting menu is comprised of 10 courses, and every course is delectable. The service here is... incomparable. Definitely going to go back just to try their pescatarian tasting menu, and the meat platter. Absolutely worththe price. Read more
