First of all, the service here is top notch! Great people and environment! Unfortunately, the food could be better for the price... you're paying. But overall, a great place to take your date or friend for a nice night out. Read more

They took 12 hours to serve us and when the food came, it smelled like food! I was disgusted, they're was a maggot in my... spaghetti. They even force me to leave a 120$ tip! Not to mention they have pet racoons in the back cooking like in the famousmovie Ratatouille. Read more

Another visit in August 2022 and still as EXCELLENT ! This time the Carpaccio was out of this world, high quality meat... beautifully sliced and went down a treat with my cocktail before the main course of pasta. Though dining solo felt very welllooked after by Martin at the bar. A must go place for my every visit to Montreal Loved the Great atmosphere charming service, delicious Seafood pasta & charcuterie. There is value in doing one thing and doing it as best as it can be done. In this case, Italian food and specifically... pasta. The menu at Le Petit Italien is concise and focused. I ate - (can't remember the exact title) a type of bruschetta withwhite anchovies which was very tasty, unique, appetizing and good. - a crudo, which was equally inviting and dressed perfectly -a pasta putanesca, my favorite, which I order whenever it is on the menu. Well done, even if the olives were almost too shy forthis bold tasting plate. Someone at our table ordered profiteroles (3 on a plate), the chou dough was hard, stuffed with vanillaice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce. The service was attentive and prompt. I would have rated this 5 stars if I had nottasted the profiteroles. Next time, I will stick to the Italian theme and order cannoli instead. Overall, a good, well run, comfort food restaurant I would go back to. Read more

Overall disappointing experience. Caesar salad and fresh mozzarella entrées were flavorful. Soup and pasta were mediocre.... Rating my experience two stars mainly because our waitress was visibly uninterested in serving our table, possibly because weweren?t consuming alcohol. Interactions with her were very unpleasant and cold. Even caught her rolling her eyes and scoffingwhen we asked her not to take away an unfinished item from the table. Read more

We had dinner there for my girlfriend's birthday and it was such a great experience. Audrey was our waitress and she was super... accodating (adding veggies to the pomodoro) and helping with drink selection. Our favorites were the focaccia and the mushroompapardelle. We'll definitely be back. Read more

Awesome place. Great service and food. The ambience was top notch for the first night of curfew lifting. They had heater lamps... placed outside, so it was warm although the weather was chilly. Bernard street is closed for the whole summer so there's a lotof place to seat outside. We came and were served right away. Read more
