Oh gosh some places are really overrated, and this is one of them. Salt and pepper is probably a matter of taste but here... everything is extremely salty as if some cook went just crazy on the salt. We were given a meal box from Provisions as part of celebrations by our company; the beet/pecan/buratta salad with maple... vinaigrette was excellent, and so was the potato gratin. However, we were less impressed by the rest of the food: either toosalty (ribs), too spicy (cauliflower and chicken) or too sweet (apple puree served with the foie gras). On top of that, theribs were definitely undercooked; despite letting them in the oven for 40 minutes, we had to fight with the piece to be able toextract some meat. The meat should delicately detach from the bones! I could have tried to save the ribs had I had an instantpot handy, which wasn't the case, sadly. The wine was decent. Haven eaten there many times. Unfortunately kind of inconsistent sometimes (most often) delicious or super salty. Best brisket sandwich hands down I've even eaten. Their sandwich ingredients are perfectly balanced; warm, slightly fatty,... smoked brisket with red cabbage and pickles, in a challah bun. Service: the gentlemen behind the counter were very helpful. Iasked if their bun had dairy products and they even went to double check the packaging to ensure there wasn't. Read more
