The problem with Applebee's is that you can get way better American food for less. Both Grinders Stonewall and Talk of the Town... are close, both of which have substantially better food and atmosphere for cheaper. They are also locally owned. The food hereis pretty mediocre to bad. The wings were very obviously frozen and the burger was just ok. Kind of made my stomach upset. Thestaff were very friendly though. In a small town with very few restaurants I could see going here, but in overland park theother options are just too good. Read more
Rude staff. One person pointed me to Togo area. Person running Togo has yet to acknowledge either guest waiting on to go and... said to another staff yea there waiting on food. Like all Applebee's, this one tries to be community orientated. Being in a military town, it had photos of cadets and the local... events. Decent friendly place for an early breakfast late lunch. Excellent waiting staff, I do recommend. Read more
The fact that they thought it was ok to serve two TINY chicken strips is almost laughable. The "sauce" was also very runny and... not that great. I got this during my lunch break and went back to the office so by the time I sat down to eat, u had ZERO timeto go back and ask for it to be remade or refund or anything. The way it is, this should be charged $5 at most, not over $20plus tip. The only reason why I gave 2 instead of 1 star is because the staff was super nice.
