This has been an OG Spot in Johnson County since the end of time. I love all the different options of meats, seafood and veggies... that they offer. My friends and I were greeted and given a table right away. In less than a minute we were able to create ourperfect meal. It's always so fun watching the chefs cook everything in front of you, truly an art. I love watching them crack anegg with the long knife, they don't use their hands at all! I wish I had these skills, haha! Definitely a filling meal and Iwill always be coming back to this place when given the chance! Read more
Buffet style Mongolian barbecue cooked on the spot in their huge grill. You have a variety of selection from meat such as... chicken, pork and beef with vegetables, condiments and sauces. The steak beef is premium quality. Cooking of dishes is fast asthey have more staff during peak hours. I think the price is worth it because of its all you can eat feature. Staff is veryfriendly. Visited this business for about the 50th time and the owner Chris was present. He watched over everyone like a HAWK and it was... very uncomfortable. We've spent a lot of money in this establishment and followed the "rules" as we were told. We also orderedan appetizer that was unacceptable (photo attached). It was supposed to be Coconut Shrimp but it looked like charcoal briquettesleft over from last evening that were fried again. Tried to reach out to the restaurant to give them an opportunity to correctit but as of now it's fallen on deaf ears. Just want everyone to be aware! Don't order any appetizers but do go in and buildyour bowl to the heavens. Be well my friends! Chris do better! Update: The restaurant left this "cute" response to contact themvia email. First off, the food was great. However, the BIGGEST and ONLY complaint was the area where you pick your protein, vegetables and... sauce/spice area. There is a sign that states thess food stations are sanitized and cleaned on a regular...Mistruth. We werethere for about an hour and not once did I see individuals change out the serving tongs clean them. The tongs and spoons usedfor the sauce were sticky and over used without cleaning them or changing them out regularly. It was gross. We were usingnapkins to make our portions and another pass through the line for 2nds was out of the question. Definitely need to adhere tothe cleaning practices they have listed on food station glass as you approach. Scary what could come of germs in this day andage. Read more
I went to the Independence location and the food was excellent. Here in Overland Park I had my food remade twice and both times... it was BURNT! Even the crab rangoon was burnt too! I will never bring my family to this location again yuk! Read more
Decently priced and good Mongolian style. My fav flavor mix is sweet soy and orange sauce mixed sooo good. Reminded me of... traditional authentic chinese orange chicken. ???? very satisfying. I would recommend just doing bowl menu items. Salad bar isgeneral selection ,nothing special. Read more
BD's was absolutely delicious! They have amazing ingredients and lots of options for your bowl. I got everything from chicken... and pork, to calamari and scallops to tofu. Yum Yum and garlic-chili sauce are my personal favorites as well. The staff wasfriendly and helpful, it is always fun to watch them cook your bowl. BDs have strategically placed TVs throughout therestaurant and they made sure to play the Chiefs game (which was greatly appreciated). Read more
Really really delicious. I mean, yes, I picked my own stuff, but it's really well done with lots of options to pick from. The... staff is friendly and I have loved everything I've put together there so far. Don't start your bowl with noodles, add those tothe top afterwards to hold on the rest of your ingredients.
