Info: (1) ?Sicilian? choice of pizza means thick crust (and doesn?t reference pizza with sauce drizzled on top of the other... toppings, like some pizza places in other states do) (2) They seem to be more likely to overcook the pizzas than to undercookthem Pros (1) Tasty pizza & toppings (2) The bacon topping is essentially the size of (extra) large bacon bit chunks of bacon,that end up getting fairly crispy. None of that soggy sad bacon on some pizzas. And it beats the pizzas that just use baconbits (3) Fairly good cost-to-quantity ratio. At first >$30 for a (Sicilian) pizza seems really high, but we only managed to eathalf of the pizza total (my normal is half a medium pizza), so we ended up at like $7.50 a meal per person Cons: (1) Ingeneral, the staff seemed more overworked/tired and less happy than most other places we?ve been (2) On one of our trips weordered a Sicilian pizza, and the employee taking our order repeated back our order as a Sicilian. Found out upon receiving ourpizza that they had keyed it in as a large normal pizza instead ($1 difference, so the price didn?t give it away). Was a bit ofa downer, but it still tasted good. Solid 4 stars. I enjoyed the flavor of the crust. It is a crisp crust, I would count it as average (not thin but not thick/pan)... and enjoyed the flavor. I tend to like slightly easy on the sauce so for me this was perfect as I believe it was slightly lessthan many competitors. Felt the prices were good for what I ordered (1 slice, which is huge and a soda). With the currenteconomy I can?t eat out often but they have very fair pricing. The atmosphere is a mix of industrial and ?sports bar? as they dohave several TV?s. I look forward to trying some other items in the future. Read more

I was very excited to try this place since we just moved close by to Down town Overland Park. I ordered a Original Hawaiian... Pizza. My first reaction when opening the box was upsetting because Crust if my favorite part and it was super burnt. And thennot only that but the pizza was soggy, meat was chewy, pineapples were places down on it like they just poured a can a pineappleon top. No flavor nothing special. I tried to eat as much as i could because i feel bad wasting food but this was too burnt forme to even have a whole slice :( I?m very disappointed to say the least and i will not be coming back. We decided to try Buffalo State Pizza as it came highly recommended. Once we brought our to go order home, we were pretty... disappointed. Our one pizza was extremely burnt and had chunks of pesto on the entire pizza. It was supposed to be a normalround red sauce pizza with green peppers and red onions. Buffalo State Pizza Co is a delicious pizza place that has very reasonable prices. You order a ?slice? and you are FULL. My... coworker asked the team to take orders and as this was my first time there, I thought I would order two ?slices?. I admit thatit was a mistake because I DESIRED to finish both pizzas but one is PLENTY! I ordered the chicken ranger and pesto Pete. I wasable to eat all of the chicken ranger but not the pesto Pete. I unfortunately cannot be a good judge based on freshness for thepesto Pete because I ate it the next day. I think the chicken ranger had better flavor than Pesto Pete. The kick from thejalapeños made for a much more robust flavor. The pesto was good but I recommend the chicken ranger of pesto Pete. However thestar of the show was the GARLIC BREAD! I think it was called the full bread sticks but they were bomb! Cheesy and topped withgarlic chunks, great texture, what more could you ask for!
