I recently noticed this restaurant tucked back on the side of a strip mall that I don't usually travel by. I was intrigued... because I ALWAYS love a good authentic taco and will usually go out of my way to get a good one! El Fogon did not disappoint! The service was fairly fast for it being lunch time and the food was hot, fresh, and delicious! Having overheard the gentlemanat the register mentioning to someone about Taco Tuesday deal I decided to go with 4 Al Pastor Tacos! They were amazing and Iam very picky about Pastor. The meat was juicy, had the perfect amount of spice and a delicious sweetness of the pineapple thatfound its way through the amalgam of flavors! The hot sauce selection is very good also. They have something for everyone frommild to spicy and even very spicy! There was also a neat little grocery store attached that I will have to revisit when I havemore time. I will definitely return in the future. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars was after overhearing the tacospecials I specifically ordered what was on special and realized after I left I was charged full price for each taco! A fewmore delicious visits and I'm sure they will earn back their last star :) ! Read more
So good! First time here and it?s delicious. I?m pretty basic when it comes to Mexican food, so I got a chicken quesadilla and... the medium sauce. So inexpensive for the flavor, and great customer service. I?ll be back soon! Read more
Great tacos de asada and al pastor. My dad thinks cilantro tastes like soap, and we forgot to mention no cilantro, when we... placed the order. Completely our fault. Would of just ordered 3 more without cilantro, and I would of had more taco's... Oh no.Luckily I remembered, and was able to catch it before the tacos were made. I ordered here a couple times. Food is alright, but the fact that every time I?ve ordered I get 3 tacos. That?s it. No salsa to... put on them. No chips. I thought it was a fluke the first time but then confirmed to be their actual operation. Plenty of goodtacos in the area, they actually give you salsa for your tacos, heck most also provide complimentary chips and salsa. I hateplaces like this that try to nickel and dime delivery/takeout since they won?t have to look them in the face when the ordersucks. Read more
I just found my new place for authentic Mexican food and cannot wait to try other thing on the menu. I have been wanting to try... this place for a long time and happy I did :) the food is amazing and seasoned perfect. I got the carne asada burrito with achicken taco and tried all of the sauces from the salsa bar. The store is very clean and the staff are very friendly.
