First time visiting - came at the recommendation of a friend who said this was the ?best dessert place in KC by far?. Was not... disappointed! Ordered the mango shaved ice and the taro sticky rice. The shaved ice was refreshing and rich in mango flavor, butthe taro sticky rice was the star of the show. It came with a scoop of coconut flavored ice cream (with just a touch of shavedcoconut texture mixed in) and a scoop of some sort of buttery flavor that neither me nor my friend could quite pinpoint - butboth were delicious! The sticky rice was super good too, and came fresh and warm. I?m not usually a big dessert/ice cream fan,but I was quite impressed. The staff was very helpful and willing to answer our questions and help us decide on what we wanted. We arrived behind a very... large group so I expected to wait a long time but our order actually came out pretty quickly. Not a lot of seating but the staffis very good at cleaning tables when guests leave. The mango shaved ice wasn't as good as I hoped but still very tasty. The icecream with toast was to die for. Really cute dessert place. Sat here and shared shaved ice and a toast with 2 other gals and a toddler. Toast was pleasing to the... eyes and tasted great! Shaved ice could use more toppings.. I think we only got like 6 small pieces of cheese cake bites fromthe shaved ice dish. Read more
This has been one of my favorite spots in Overland Park. It?s truly a hidden gem. The cafe was clean and the owner/staff were... super helpful in suggesting what my boyfriend and I should try. We got the ?I am Wonderful? honey toast (not pictured) to shareand I got the the Ice Cream and Coffee float (pictured). I was blown out of the water on how amazing the honey toast was and amalready craving another ice cream and coffee float. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! My ex boss brought me here with a friend. Because of her access we got this delicious dessert. I?m pretty sure this is their... original dessert on the menu, but I would show the cashier this photo to double check. Definitely enough to cover 2 half fullstomachs. Definitely will be back! Read more
We love this place! Dessert like none other. They have large portions so you could always order a couple and share. The honey... brick toast is wonderful! The shaved ice is so smooth and creamy. You can't go wrong with any of their desserts. Read more
What a great dessert place! There is not another dessert place like it that I have ever been to. The honey Toast is light and... crispy, and the chocolate ice cream on top of the toast worked well with the toast. The teas were refreshing and flavorful. Ienjoy my teas with half the amount of sugar to bring out the notes of the tea flavors. Just a thought for when you order yourteas, if you would like that. Read more
