Excellent restaurant. Very consistent each time dining here. The surf & turf you can go wrong with. The sides are lovely. I had... the Cesar salad, 6oz filet with Yukon gold mashed potatoes & asparagus with pico. It was Devine. Had the Apple dessert & it wasfabulous. This is a great, fun atmosphere to take your crew of favorite people for a celebration. Or a night out for two. I wentfor my birthday & received a free dessert. My first time ever official 3 course meal. Bread, soup/salad appetizer, entree and side dishes and finished it off with a... dessert. Worth every dollar. My GF and I came here for my birthday on the 27th. The atmosphere is pretty nice with dim lighting. The service was good and... our server was attentive and made sure our drinks were always refilled etc. only reason I’m giving this four stars is becauseI wanted the lamb racks and had asked the server as he recommended it. Then I went to order it a couple minutes later and hesaid they were sold out which was kind of a bummer because that’s one of the main reasons I came so I settled for the bone inrib-eye. Was very excited to come here because I had heard great things about this place. And it was great. We went for restaurant week.... I had the Maine Crab Bisque first and it was great! Loved the flavor and the kick it had. Next I had the Maple Plank RoastedSalmon with her roasted potatoes and asparagus. The whole dish was great. The salmon was cooked well and tasted good. Theroasted potatoes were great. My partner got the 6 oz center cut filet and it was very good as well. I had their lemonade todrink and it was fantastic. I love homemade lemonade. Read more

Enjoyable KC restaurant week experience with friends. The service was better than the food because: 1) The bisque is salty and... the freshly ground pepper for this soup wasn’t offered to all diners. 2) One of the medium rare filets was over-cooked, butquickly replaced with a new one. 3) The cake part of the chocolate dessert was dry. However our server was attentive and allowedus to sit and chat for 45 mins after we paid. Read more

We came here on 10/30/21 around 8:10pm - Our second time here in the last year and a birthday celebration - Our server was Nick... A very pleasant individual - the food was delicious - I highly recommend the lamb - The bread taste amazing and the calamari ispretty good with the sour sauce - So happy they don’t serve the calamari with marinara here! They also let us swap out ourbirthday dessert for something other than was listed on the card - The smoked old fashioned was fabulous as always and one ofthe main reasons we came here again - This time it was served already made and the second round came out with a corked smokebottle unlike the first round - sadly a little less of a presentation that the prior year when it had the glass dome over it butstill tasted great - the only minor issue was they stopped taking drink orders at 9:15 but do not close until 10 - there was nowarning on the early discontinuation of drinks either.
