I was very happy when I found a restaurant that serves a lot of gluten free options. We went after lunch hours about 12:50pm.... On a Tuesday. We were seated quickly. I ordered the cheese curds, and the risotto. My husband and had the apple walnut chickensalad. The food came out fairly quickly. The cheese curds were fabulous. The risotto was awful! I was expecting somethingearthy and creamy this was sour not earthy at all and the risotto wasn’t completely cooked. I think they used Greek yogurtin the mix and well just “yuck”. My husbands salad look really good but the balsamic was bland as if it had been sittinginstead of freshly mixed. Then we had to wait over 15 mins while our server disappeared. She did not ask how our meal wasonly if we needed anything else. Not sure if we will be back. Read more

First visit: stopped on a whim due to such great reviews. Best decision we made! Great staff (thank you to Naomi and the... gentleman from the kitchen!), amazing food (squeaky cheese, chicken picatta, Nashville hot chicken). Flavors we're great andprep was perfect. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Thank you!! Read more

Louie's food and service is always great. This was our first visit to this location and we had a great time. We will be coming... back. The incredible thing is that almost everything on the menu is gluten free and the keep a truly GF kitchen. Celiacs cansplurge on comfort food it is hard to find anywhere else. Things like fish and chips, deep fried cheese curds, and coated foodlike chicken picatta. Yum, yum. It is expensive, but worth the splurge. Read more

Make a reservation. Charcuterie board was delicious and definitely would be enough for a little bite with some wine. The steak... was a little over cooked for what we asked but it had a good flavor. The triple bacon gnocchi was very rich and tasty. TheMerlot was good but definitely check prices or just get a bottle. The Old Fashioned was one of the best we’ve had in KC.Overall a great experience but it is pricey. Read more

This is a restaurant with friendly but very slow service and enjoyable but not great food. If you are looking for a place to... unwind, socialize and let the evening unwind at a relaxed pace, this may be a good fit for you. Otherwise, you'll do just aswell or better down the road. The wine that I got was upper end from their by-the-glass options, but the chardonnay was onlymediocre. The portion was good. Per our waitress'es recommendation, I ordered the spicy shrimp diablo. This was a respectabledish with good shrimp, pasta and sauce which was enjoyable and well plated. While it was tasty, it certainly was not the hot orspicy that I expected for a diablo meal. The beignets were well done - a solid hit to share. They add a splash of flavor in astylish dessert, which was a nice way to end the meal. Overall, we did enjoy dinner but I would be less than enthusiastic aboutreturning here because of the glacial pace of the meal. Read more

The older male host was kinda rude. I walked in and he just said "what do you need", I said a booth for two, he said "you only... need a table if there's two of you", okay whatever that's fine... So sat down... Waiter was nice enough, didn't come to thetable too often. The pasta was absolutely delicious. Definitely a pricey place for a glass of wine but I guess that's the point.Nice place to sit back and have a conversation. Read more
