I had the wonton soup. The pickled daikon was the only off note for me. It was just a little too sweet, and contrasted oddly... with the umami of the soup (though that was also slightly sweet, it wasn't too much). I appreciated that it wasn't too salty. The hand pulled noodles are pleasantly chewy. The wontons themselves were delicious, and I had 8, so they were also plentiful. My husband thought there were too many veggies, but I think the problem is that they weren't cut up, so while it looked pretty, it was a little hard to eat. The kitty robot serves the appetizers only, so you may want to order one early, and thenanother later, if you want kitty service. Our waiter was pleasant and efficient. Our friends, who have eaten here before, said they often see kids here, but the atmosphere felt more adult, except for the kitty robot itself, which was ADORABLE. I'ddefinitely recommend it as a good date spot, just maybe not on Saturday, which rumors say is when the kiddos show up. Read more

Sometimes the unique is often close but just out of sight. This spot hits that mark with a service robot that looks like a cat... and the sound of hand pulled noodles being slapped on the counter. It has a very nice interior and staff were excellent fromstart to finish plus with what they have for a menu, it will keep you coming back. Had the Magic Pork with the Gyoza Dumplingsand both were a knockout, especially when the apps come to you on a service robot. This place may seem a bit far for anyoneNorth or East of Downtown KC but is well worth the trip for the food and experience Read more

The hand pulled noodles and egg rolls are amazing! Would have liked a little more flavor in the stir fry as it was a bit bland... without any garlic, ginger, or sesame flavor. The chili oil on the table was decent but really salty. The Magic Sauce on thetable seemed to be a ginger curry sauce but was mostly just salt. Would have liked to see the robot deliver food other than theappetizers otherwise I'm not sure of the point. Was at the restaurant for over an hour and it only delivered to 3 tables. Wewill be back to enjoy more noodles. Read more

Wow...so worth the 40 min drive to get there. Great atmosphere and the food was outstanding. We tried alot of appetizers and... the chef's special. The animated appetizer kitty cat themed rumba was also pretty intresting and added something special tothis place. The nom nom chicken was the highlight for me. Unfortunately, they were out of tentacles which I wanted to try. The menu was close to 10 pages deep. My wife noticed that no one, I mean no one, put soy sauce in the soup.... it was alreadythat good. The bowls are really big too... Read more

Super impressed with this place’s food! Loved the sauce served with their gyoza and the tentacles are a must app. Ordered the... chicken ramen for my main dish, proceeded to dump all the sauces in it (magic sauce, chili oil, gyoza sauce) and WOW! Soflavorful as the flavors melded into the broth. I imagine the ramen would be a little bland otherwise. Overall, 9/10 on food!Service was quality as well. Almost took away 1 star due to a strange odor in the place… possibly from their broth or cookingarea, but it was slightly off putting. But will still 100% recommend and return! Read more

First time to be in the restaurant. The place is clean and you can watch the noodles freshly made. We ordered the Magic noodles... (with string noodles)-almost perfect????The Triple B rice bowl with the braised beef is also very good. Customer service is alsogreat. We will definitely go back. Read more

We really enjoyed this restaurant. Initially, found it from a local magazine identifying some of the newer highly rated... restaurants. It was fun to watch the chief noodle maker use his gifts in making noodles. He made it look deceivingly easy but Iknow it’s most certainly not. The stir fry & noodle soup was excellent and large portions. Read more

I had a difficult time trying to figure out whether to give it a 4 or 5 stars. The service was good and the people were nice.... The atmosphere of the place was surprisingly nice with thought in interior design. My issue was me getting a dish that wasn'treally fit for my tastes. I had The Magic (noodle bowl) $14, but combination of meats didn't fit well in my opinion. Having Porkchops, with a well-done fried egg, tripe, and beef was an interesting mix. The soup base was odd as well, it had a slight smellof curry and what I thought I would be a beef noodle soup may actually lean more towards chicken or pork? BUT! when I tried myfriend's bowl (Triple B) now that soup was delicious! DEFINITELY BEEF. I think it just depends on what you get to reallydetermine if you like the place or not. i would say my bowl was a 7/10. Read more
