Growing up in Hawaii this is what we ate weekly! I miss Kaneohe a lot but this places take me home even if for just a moment. ... Chicken Katsu local style, Hawaiina BBQ chicken, Teri Beef steak, and more. Awesome food, real local Hawaii style food AND nowthey have a Hawaiian style chili! My photo isn?t the most aesthetically pleasing, but I can?t help myself from digging in! I?ve had the shrimp, steak, teri and... pulehu chicken, and they have all been fantastic! The teri chicken is my personal favorite, as I absolutely love the char andflavor. It?s also good enough to eat without their sauce (but the sauce is still fire!). Oh, and the pog. Get thepog. Mixed opinions - the staff was so nice and my food came out quickly - but it seemed like none of it was seasoned. The macaroni... salad didn?t taste like anything - exactly like plain yogurt with noodles in it. With seasonings from home, it was better - butI wouldn?t order this again if this is how it normally tastes. Katsu chicken was very dry/over cooked and bland, you could onlytaste plain bread crumbs; couldn?t chew the ends, they had been over cooked into a rock. The teriyaki chicken was also very dry,but tasted better with the sauce to soften it, again, unseasoned. Steak was good and looked fresh - with some salt and pepper itwas much better. The portions were generous and the staff was very sweet - the food just wasn?t seasoned. First time visiting today, in the middle of lunch rush. Employees were very kind and answered all my questions. Drive Thru was... very prompt! I?m very excited about the Katsu Chicken and Shrimp Tempura. I ordered the mini plate. All of my food looks andsmells FRESH! The chicken was very juicy and flavorful, looks like they use dark meat. I did love Hawaiian Bros, but somethingalways felt like it could have been better with them?their food also hurts my stomach. Mo Bettahs?however. Veryimpressed! Tried for the first time. I ordered a regular plate with Kalua pig and Pulehu chicken with rice and mac. The chicken was... extremely good and the bed of cabbage gave it a nice crunch. The pork was extremely salty for my liking and the mac was overcooked and bland tasting. The heat from the meats and rice made the mac warm. I prefer mine cold. Wish they had a spicy chickenor sauce on the menu. Overall it was a good meal at a decent price. I?ll def try the other offerings they have. Read more

Great, filling, and healthy food for under $15, sounds good! Hawaiian food that has always been very filling, very good and has... great proportions. I reccomend the "Mini" with teriyaki chicken, Katsu chicken (breaded chicken), rice and mac salad. If youhave a handful of kids, like me, this place should make everyone happy. This place is fantastic! We were told they were giving away free lunch today to promote their grand opening tomorrow, so we... came and got blessed! The pork was juicy and delicious, the chicken was tasty and covered in their teri sauce which is great! The rice, cabbage and Mac salad were great compliments.
