I will give this place 3 stars, the portions were huge, and the service was great, but after all the hype on Man Vs Food I... expected the food to be better quality. It was OK at best. It's amazing! Served family style, so you can keep getting more potatoes, green beans, & gravy! The chicken is pan fried..so it... comes out hot! It's definitely worth the wait! I always get the 3 breast meal!( $21.99 ) At the end of your meal, they bring outcinnamon rolls! They're not your traditional cinnamon rolls....which is awesome! No matter how full you maybe...you'll eat one???? They've got other menu items..but I'm here for the chicken! Pre-meal you get homemade chicken noodle soup or salad. Get thesoup! Stopped in and had a fantastic meal! The chicken noodle soup was a tasty starter. Then the main course came out and the gravy... was phenomenal as always! The fried chicken was juicy and the green beans were super! The food is always top notch but honestlyI could sit there and just eat mashed potatoes and gravy. The cinnamon rolls for dessert were fresh and hot. Our service wasgreat and the take home portions gave me another meal, which makes me happy. Really love the food but it has gotten really pricy the past few years. It’s about $15-20 a person now. There was 2 of us... total and our bill after everything was said and done was a little over $50. This included 8 pieces of dark meat, mashedpotatoes, green beans, side salad, and cinnamon rolls. The chicken is great, but there's a ton of other options. Today we tried the pan fried pork chop. We had the spicy one, and it... was a perfect balance of spicy to sweet. We decided to go here after seeing an old episode of Man vs Food and seeing how delicious the chicken looked. We get there and... it takes them a few minutes to seat us even though it was not busy at all. We get seated and we get a really great server whotakes great care of us. Only real hiccup was the salad, asked for Italian dressing but got ranch. Quickly swapped out so no realissue. Once our dinner is brought it doesn’t take long to see we didn’t get the same treatment Adam Richman did. Chicken wasnot good at all. Legs were small and tasted like they were fried in old grease! The breast was so dry I had to eat it with thegravy that was brought with mashed potatoes. On the positive side the chicken fried steak was very good! Also the mashedpotatoes and gravy were very good. The green beans were good as well. I got full but only because the mashed potatoes and greenbeans were unlimited. I will try again because I want to try the pan fried pork chops but I will definitely pass on the friedchicken unfortunately. Read more
