I visit this restaurant on Saturday night, in drive through for 45 minutes. Get to window I was over charged. 65.00 dollars for... large family with sides and tea 1 gallon. I question the facts of 65.00 she charged me extra for the extra side the came withmeal. After asking why so much and asking to re Ring the order it was 58.00. This Golden Chick Just CANT GET IT RIGHT? Out of convenience of this location being so close to my house, I at least stop here... once a week. If they can?t get my order right (even after repeating the correct order to me) I don?t get condiments or napkins.In my mind it?s just common sense that if a side that requires an eating utensil is ordered, you automatically place thatutensil in the bag. If a drink is ordered you get a straw. I guess common sense isn?t too common here because they just can?tget it right. Went today to get a Nashville Hot Sandwich Combo. I always ask for no pickles. The food was seasoned just right. Everything was delicious. But my side order of green beans was in a much smaller container... than it usually is at the other golden chicks I have visited this was the first time I visit this one and that was the firsttime I ever seen green beans in a container so small other than that everything else was great Read more

I don't know what merit the other reviews hold. I moved to this area a few years ago, and I've had nothing but positive... experiences while visiting. They have fast service, my food has always been fresh, and the employees are friendly. This GC islocated inside Ovilla, bordering Glenn Heights and the outskirts of Red Oak, away from traffic chaos on I35 & Ovilla Rd.However, it's unique location enables them to focus on treating their customers right. It hardly ever busy, so there's almostnever a wait. I've visited this location several times, and my food has always tasted excellent and warm. The employees actuallygreet me at the drive-thru window; sadly, that's no longer a common courtesy at other fast food joints. They've done right byme, so I say keep up the good work. Read more
