Waitress was nice. Took forever to be seated and people were being seated before we were who hadn't been waiting near as long.... We got skipped I think 4 times. Then my order was wrong and sort of burnt. I just wanted to get out of there so I didn'tcomplain plus the waitress was nice. Oh yea... The place was pretty empty also. Hair in food, slow service, waited 20 minutes for a coffee refill and pop refill, coffee came but no creamer, pop never came.... Manager did make it right on the hair, but if you want to eat here , get it to go, dine in isn?t the way to go here. Read more

5 of our 6 meals were very good. The sixth was a disaster. Reuben sandwich was dry and overcooked, had only a teaspoon of kraut... and served with cold fries. (She should have sent it back but instead asked for a spoonful of sauerkraut.) My small size chickenfried steak was delicious and I liked the small amount of gravy on it. Broccoli and carrots done well. Mashed potatoes lumpy andbarely warm. Husband had large size CFS and would have liked more gravy. His salad was generous. The chicken taco salad isginormous and tasty with salsa and sour cream. Iced tea was good and lemons fresh. The blackberry cobbler was huge and delish.Huckleberry ice cream is good. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Well, go if you?re okay eating in a dump with terrible service. I don?t write reviews. Actually I... think this is maybe my first or second review ever. However, I feel it my duty to enlighten the Owasso Community about howterrible of an experience me & my family had this morning at the Black Bear Diner. We walk in and are greeted by two friendlyfaces who were prompt to show us our table. This place was disgusting. You could tell the carpet hadn?t been clean in a verylong time. Secondly, the chairs were dirty I even looked for 2 separate chairs & they were just as dirty. The utensils wererolled awful. Then our waitress approached us. She was pleasant but not helpful. When asked about different allergenaccommodations she really had no clue and was not helpful. That?s fine I?ll figure it out. The Diner was my guess not even halffull & we waited 30 minutes for 2 meals & a kids pancake meal. When our meal finally arrived, you could taste our dirty theirskillets are. Truthfully, the food matches the dirty atmosphere. Our waitress forgot our kids drinks, not a huge deal but alsonot great service. It?s very clear the management/owner doesn?t care or take notice the lack of service the staff provides. I?mall about giving people chances but when they are terrible at their job. Something has to change. When we left, there was amiddle aged couple asking the friendly faces in the front if they are supposed to ?go to the cook & give our orders? becausethey had been waiting for over 20 mins. Breakfast at Black Bear Diner was an excellent experience. Little bears danced on the curtains, and throughout the... rooms. Newspaper printed menus sat on the table before us offering a feeling of times long forgotten. The food was delicious, portions plentiful, and prices good. And our server, Lea, was amazing! She accommodated over 40 adults in our party, and severalchildren, without missing a beat! Our coffee cups were always kept full. No one left disappointed. Thank you staff andmanagement. Read more

Great place is you want some home cooking and comfort food. Staff was friendly and attentive and the food was good.

Food was really good. Had chicken fried steak with baked potato. Came with green beans and a corn muffin. I don't like cornbread... but these were awesome.. Didn't even taste like corn. The chicken fried steak was huge, hot and tasted better than ive had in along time. Baked potato needed a lil extra butter.. Was dry.. And the green beans were excellent. Our waitress on the other handsukd. We're going to go back again.. Get a different server ???? it was our anniversary and they gave us a few bear bucks tomake up for the "service".
